I used to always work counts & take tons of pitches to make my opponent go to the pen by the 5th inning. There’s literally no point in doing that now because of this ridiculous trend.

I feel that this strategy is also a lost cause. I always paid attention to opponent's pitch count and tried to average 15 or more pitches per inning. Now it doesn't matter because klubot will just relieve Hal right before snell.

What's the point of having a bullpen if guys are just going to go from Lodolo to Graterol to Hal to Kluber?
I'm shocked your not brown nosing SDS for all their perfect decisions. What happened to you?

For the last time, all of the “SdS DeFeNdErS” only ever defended hitting. Thats it. We all still have problems with fielding and pitching

Even guys like Hal will still be at 40% stamina at 100 pitches sometimes (happened to me once). I thought I was doing well working him in a tight game...got him up to 100 pitches in like the 7th but had so much energy.

They need to rebalance pitchers stamina for:
- Starting pitchers coming in out of the bullpen. They need to lose stamina faster and take more time to recover, to make it more of a decision with a trade off when you decide to bring a SP in.
- RP/CP to be able to throw more pitches before they get tired. RP/CP are in the yellow way too soon, making it less appealing to bring them in when you could just bring in that SP.
So much this. RPs need to last a bit longer...its like you throw to 1 batter and your down to the yellow already.

Well then you SdS dEfenDers are dumbasses, hitting feedback is broken and unbalanced. Idiot
-
Pitching is so broken. Locating pitches is mostly RNG based on confidence and stamina. Relievers throw 5 pitches before they have no stamina. After that, they throw meatballs.
The only way to counter that is to use starters out of the bullpen which is kind of stupid but it's the best way to avoid the broken pitching mechanics in this game.

There are 3 problems surrounding this and all 3 need to be addressed:
Lack of good bp arms
RP stamina. They get tired walking in from the bullpen and are basically useless. Confidence could be a huge issue also.
SP recovery. Way too fast and needs to be adjusted. -
BP pitchers need to be able to have full stamina bars. It makes no sense as to why they only have about 80% stamina when they are fully rested in a 9 inning game mode. In custom leagues, they have full bars, why not in ranked? This would allow you to actually throw 15+ pitches before going into the yellow, which is really important this year since there is a 3 batter minimum.
-
I’ve had to take a different outlook on RS this year, it’s just not the same as years past. The SP coming out of the pen has ruined the mode imo.
-
-
I mean Kluber and Hal have 120 stamina why would you not take advantage of that? This sounds like when people complain about CAP’s.
-
Funny that you post this and your last game YOU used Hal out of the pen

In my opinion the only times a starter should be used out of the pen is if you used an opener, the original starter got shelled early or extra innings.

Isn’t it time you made another rage post because you can’t make it out of wild card?

In OOTP, starters that come out of the pen can not pitch on consecutive days. It’s something...

This is what I'd like to see and think it would go a long way. Except I'd say can't pitch the next two games since even with today's opener strategy, etc., it is extremely rare for a starter to be used in relief and then not go back to something akin to normal rest. Prob not likely to see something like this until next year. Still better than roulette though.

- Hitting
- Pitching

You know he was talking about starters being used out of the pen. Not the game in general, right?
