Innings

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but innings not carrying over when you advance to Stage 2 affinity is beyond dumb.

Can you play lets say 248 innings, then when stage 3 hits, you play two more innings it goes to 250? Or does it reset to zero when stage 3 hits?

Stay at 248. It will carry over once Stage 3 opens up because you are on the same stage.
It also resets to 0 after the game that breaks 250 which I think is even more annoying. None of the additional innings past 250 trigger against the new counter. It is always back to 0.

Are you positive on this? I was at 69 on Stage 1 of the Yankees earlier today, and when I got my TA packs, I also noticed I was at 4 points in Stage 2.

Yes, the TA points count past the Stage level. The innings played reset by Stage.

That’s crazy. Because, like I said, it worked for me just a couple of hours ago. I really wouldn’t doubt if it has a mind of its own.
Now, I found out the hard way that collection points won’t carry over for sure when I sat on Acuña for a week, just before Stage 2 was released. But I guess it wasn’t really any harm done since I was planning on completing the collections anyways.

It does suck, although it forces one to be strategic.

Yes, it carries over the TA points if the next stage is open when you hit the 250 (so you could be at 74, per se). It carries over if that’s the last thing you do before advancing stages. But if you were at like 200 innings and advanced to the next stage, you’d be back at zero for your innings. I know that’s how it is, and I generally try to plan for it. But it’s kind of silly.

For instance, I advanced the Yankees to stage 2 today while playing MTO. I had planned earlier. So I only had 27 of the 250 innings built up because I laid off using Yankees guys once I ticked it over last time. But I lost 99 of the 150 online innings as it reset to zero for stage 2
