Yeah the timing windows are screwy, for sure. I've had games where I couldn't catch up to Ohtani on All Star, but Newhouser on legend was like BP. Pitch speed difference has been around for years online, which leads me to believe it's connection based, but it's so much worse and so much more variable this year.

Funny you say this because I don’t remember this being an issue at all last year in 19. Do you remember this at all last year?

Yep, as stated above, I do. Not as often or noticeable as this year, though.

Can I get a second set of eyes on this? I was crushing Hal and chapman hours ago on same difficulty in seasons but this game I literally couldn't do anything. Does it look like the pitches are coming in unusually fast? I need to sleep most likely, but something seemed off.

Speed looks fine when you are hitting.

However the speed will always look slow when you are pitching because that's how the game works. Slight delay on pitcher side but to the hitter side everything is full speed, so the games are synced up.

There are games that Hal is unhittable, and games where it looks lift a balloon coming in. I don't understand it. One game I feel like I'm hitting great, and the next there's a hole in my bad. Like, I can't even foul tip a ball I was mashing in the previous game. So the difficulty sliders have either changed drastically or it's ping.

I noticed it this morning too. I’ve never had a problem hitting vida blue, but when I played this morning, the timing was all over the place. I’d be very early on fastballs, then very late when I knew it was coming and timed it up. Same thing with offspeed. Was pretty frustrating, but ended up winning because my opponent couldn’t hit a fastball.

half my games pitch speed comes in wayyyy too fast its a joke at this point and has made me pretty much give up on playing. Only time it plays right is right after a server reset. Lmao I've been dealing with this since day 1. Ruins timing anything or getting better

I don't know regarding the pitch speeds, but I would have been more annoyed about that hanging change up down the middle to Reggie Jackson getting smashed for a warning track fly out. Obviously you win some and lose some in that situation with this game, but I feel like that should have been deposited in the river...

Yup, its always been there, I think the super narrow timing window this year just makes it far more noticeable.

Synchronization, that’s the problem, internet speeds difference.

Does anyone believe it doesn't have anything to do with speeds, sleep deprivation, "what we did wrong" period.

That, in fact, it's all about what AI decides will happen in the game? I played my last game for good (I hope I can stick with it) last night. Many-many negative experiences leading up to it. But, the final straw (and not as bad as most things I've seen). I'm winning 3-2 8th inning. Scored 2 runs and got 7 or 8 hits off of starter

Yea it’s an issue. Just today I was early on Chapman’s 102 on HOF, then the next game on Allstar I have to completely guess and sell out on fastballs from Ohtani.

Literally hate this game in RS. Events and BR and showdown are fun.
