He will never be in the game for obvious reasons.

He'd be quite a boring addition..

He wasn't particularly fast. Only 198 SB and was caught 149 times. That's actually terrible.

He was a 118 OPS+ hitter for his career. Good, certainly not eye popping in the slightest.
He hit tons of singles.. very little power. Only 160 HR in 24 seasons. That's an average of 6.67 HR per season. Yuck.

He wasn't a great fielder either. Which is why he moved all over the place.

He had longevity, and was consistent in getting on base for a very long period of time, along with other intangibles like work ethic and incredible will. Things that wouldn't translate at all to this game.
Pete Rose would be a terrible addition even if it was possible. Which it is not

Pete Rose is banned from baseball but 2017-2019 Houston Astros team is still allowed to play baseball, makes sense to me.
