Guys, last season was my first and started on Veteran setting. This year, I figured I would crank it up to All star pitching and batting. My question is...should i tone that down on moments? Because i thought you got more xp for doing everything on allstar. Even online. It's just busting my ballz here. Suggestions?

What mode are you taking about? What do you mean when you say online?

If you’re talking about moments, you can’t control the settings of moments. I want to help. Just don’t quite understand the question.

I'm on Zone, but always changing my camera for zoom, strike out 1 or 3. Sometimes wide. I'm just beat up man lol. Maybe just swallow my pride and go to veteran? That's rank season of course.

Okay. Gotcha. But, you can’t control the settings in ranked, showdown, and moments. But, you sound like my level of player and here’s two things that help me.

    1. on moments that I struggle with I just starting thinking that I will swing as soon as possible. I want to try and be early on everything. I find that usually helps.

    2. play some conquest games on hall of fame. Even if you don’t win, I find it causes me to be way more patient when I play moments on all star and veteran. Because on hall of fame I’m only looking for certain pitches, not trying to hit everything in the zone.

Try using the Challenge of the Week as batting practice. It’ll start you out on Rookie, then after enough base hits, continuously ramp up the difficulty until you reach Legend. This way you can see and feel the difference in pitch speeds and locations throughout the difficulty settings.

Moments are easier using Directional especially for HR. If I can not do them in a few try's on zone I change to Directional.

Definitely good advice. How do you manipulate your stick? Does your thumb ride it or do you flick it? In this version, I’ve re-adjusted from the flick to having my thumb sitting atop the stick(riding the stick) and have found great success. It’s really important to follow the incoming pitch with your eyes and react much like you’re driving with your eyes on the road ahead as your hands and wheel naturally maneuver to the shape of the road. Plus, lots and LOTS of batting practice doesn’t hurt either. AND be patient. Take pitches.
