We should honestly take a minute and thank sds. They have repeatedly patched the skill out mlb 20. Now you have the ability to be absolutely blown away with a fastball or fooled by a breaking ball and still hit a ball over the fence or punch it through a hole at an alarming rate. I hit a homerun on a ball that was hit in the vision part of the pci. Nothing makes me happier than hitting a ball to the wall and watching the outfielder who is camping under not put his glove in the air. I have had to offer friendly quits to countless opponents because I know how much it sucks to be absolutely screwed by a laughably broken game. Atleast they come through with stub sales and multiple headliner packs a week. Please come back 2K sport.

I don’t know dude, this game is playing the best it has all year. If they could just patch fly balls not locking on ( again) and the pitchers hanging too many good feedback pitches then it would be great. Obviously if you miss the meter or analog then it should possibly hang, but not on good feedback

The less a player is rewarded for having skill, the more likely they are to think they need better players to get gud. Add in a stub sale or two. Profit.
When something is that simple, it's usually your answer.

Gotta love all of those silver cards in the headliners! And when you do actually get a diamond it's like the lowest value 99% of the time, if that's all they will offer than they can keep those sh'ty packs

I didn’t say it was great, I said it was playing best it has all year ( well past hitting nerf patch 3 days in)

I only play Offline and I think it is the best version of the game in the series... ¯_(ツ)_/¯

For a studio that is clearly catering to online h2h gameplay they kinda suck at it. This should be the best version of the game across all formats.
Fielding is still atrocious... AI base running is comically bad... Hitting is a total dice roll of input to output

Imagine playing a shooter where you had the best rocket launcher in the game and you hit your opponent dead on with it and there was a chance that you might hurt him.

I agreed with you all the way until you brought up 2k. Lol. Let them stick with screwing up the hoops side of things. This is actually the worst installation of the show imo. I know 18 was rough but this is just terrbull.
