Absolutely. Every year since I’ve played. This is usually 40-50% off too. I’d assume a flash sale will run with it though to combat Trout and the other 90+ diamonds doubling in price.

That will only help hold the prices for a couple of days or so. You can pretty much count on Trout hitting 425-450, and a flash sale will do nothing to keep Kemp's price down.

Also, the added volume of more packs being purchased will inherently keep the prices down slightly since more cards will hit the market. All this taken into account, the market should see a 15%-25% bump in value per card (from what I have noticed, traditionally.)
(In other words, don't sell anything now and wait for the sale. LOL)

I was curious about this (1st year playing) . Are you saying that all diamonds, including lower ls, should see a raise?
I'm in a fantastic situation with an extra Trout to sell and I just need diamonds for Indians, As, Red Sox and Astros (already have Verlander tho) to get Mantle.
I'm kinda regretting not just getting 340 for him yesterday before the new packs dropped. I feel like I'm leaving 50k on the board tho if I sell now.

I posted a similar question on the community market page. My guess was the market would go up, however it being a video game and not real life I don't really know.

@dantheranman Yes, traditionallly there is a spike due to the inflated value of the Stubs.
Don't sell your extra Trout until Day 2 of the sale. That's when the inflated prices should peak.
@Scott_LaRock101 Like real currencies fluctuate with inflation, so too do Stubs.
P.S.- Take down all your sales on Thursday. LOL
