I was getting to the point where I was getting absurdly frustrated with the game to the point I wanted to stop playing. My only goal in the game was Mickey Mantle at that point but still didn't want to play.

This game isn't all that bad. It has its issues but 18 was years worse than 20. Plenty of worse games than this.
Well, how do you get past a skill based game that doesn't account for skill? I've never played one determined by the cpu like this.
It's there. Trust me it's there. Pitching needs a big patch but the skill gap is still there.
