Rivera is an awesome addition but he’s not a starter. The Braves get Maddux, Glavine and Smoltz and the Yankees have no Ace starter. Please SDS add a Yankee Ace in this game. Clemens, Pettitte or Mussina would all be amazing!!!
It'd be cool to have "Moose" in my rotation.
Sorry but if Mussina is in the game it should be as a Oriole where he spent the vast majority of his career.

Anyone else's Rivera get Rocked? Even against the CPU?
Yeah. He is not doing it for me. I am holding out that I need to figure him out.
Osuna is still my go-to.
Same. Maybe it's just the Cutter for me. Doesn't matter who I throw it with it's either so Filthy no one chases, or does nothing and gets blasted. I'll take the Slurve and Slider all day.

I agree. Oriole. But Moose would be solid I think in this. Always loved his abbreviated windup. He'd have good enough heat, great movement, a disgustingly slow knucklecurve, and great /9's.

He played 10 seasons with the Orioles, and 8 with the Yankees. I dont think that would be considered "the vast majority".

I think being drafted by the Orioles and raised in their farm for 4 years adds to it a bit.
Plus, how many Orioles aces are there? Palmer? Not many... They need him more lol -

Yes, exactly. Molitor is a Brewer 100%.
He just so happened to have a monster year and won his only title with the Jays.. -

Hey once we get those guys we have a chance at Bonds, McGwire and Sosa. But having guys like Giambi, Sheffeild, Ankiel, Santiago and Gagne. I guess has already somewhat got us started.
Also if that’s the case no Astros players from 2017 should be in the game
Why’s big Papi in the game he was in the Mitchell report, and I’m so sick of people calling him the greatest dh of all time even though he juiced and is still a far worse hitter than edgar

Their career OPS are nearly identical.
.933 to .931
Worse in BA, ok, but to call him a "far worse hitter" is harsh.Papi was undoubtedly one of the greatest clutch hitters ever, and had 7 top 10 MVP finishes. I would say he deserves to be right there when discussing best DHs.

I have nothing against steroids I think papi should be a hof er but Bonds won 7 mvps and his 2002 ps was one of the greatest of all time so in reality if you want to stick up for papi stick up for bonds

I'm for those players getting into the HOF. Bonds, Clemens, McGwire, Sosa, Palmeiro, etc.
Just because I think Bonds is an asshole, and not as influential as Ruth, doesnt mean I dont think hes one of the all time greats.

Here are Ortiz's comments from the radio interview:
"What was the reason for them to come out with something like that? The only thing that I can think of, to be honest with you, a lot of big guys from the Yankees were being caught. And no one from Boston ... This was just something that leaked out of New York and they had zero explanation about it ... Everybody who got caught, all of them were told what they bought, what they used, everything. But David Ortiz. Nobody came to me after, nobody came to me before. Nobody came to me ever, to tell me that I tested positive for any kind of steroids."

"Back in 2009, Ortiz said he would look into his failed test to determine what happened, but he's yet to provide a follow-up. I have a hard time thinking New York bias played into the reporting, however. I'm not sure there's anything the New York media would love more than finding out several of the city's start players are using PEDs."
