Why’s big Papi in the game he was in the Mitchell report, and I’m so sick of people calling him the greatest dh of all time even though he juiced and is still a far worse hitter than edgar
Their career OPS are nearly identical.
.933 to .931
Worse in BA, ok, but to call him a "far worse hitter" is harsh.Papi was undoubtedly one of the greatest clutch hitters ever, and had 7 top 10 MVP finishes. I would say he deserves to be right there when discussing best DHs.

I'm for those players getting into the HOF. Bonds, Clemens, McGwire, Sosa, Palmeiro, etc.
Just because I think Bonds is an asshole, and not as influential as Ruth, doesnt mean I dont think hes one of the all time greats.

And no one from Boston ... This was just something that leaked out of New York and they had zero explanation about it ... Everybody who got caught, all of them were told what they bought, what they used, everything. But David Ortiz. Nobody came to me after, nobody came to me before. Nobody came to me ever, to tell me that I tested positive for any kind of steroids."

Suspensions didn't start until 2004.... So... Ya...
