on a 125 point scale thats more like 70 power if they curved it. But still anything low in the zone with a perfect perfect swing is most likely a lineout or a ground out because of how launch angles work in MLB.

Interesting thought about the 125 vs 100 scale. Ill counter that if this was the case, wouldn't they have mentioned this during the livestream when they introduced perfect perfect?

Perfect perfect means you timed it perfect.. Ok how many hard hit balls in real are outs.. I mean we cant expect every perfect perfect to be a hit. Just like in real life you sometimes crush the ball L5... or L8 then next ab you hit a late weak 2 rbi single with the pitcher.

They should take the contact display out of the game. There are too many dumb people that think a perfect , perfect contact should be a hit. Have you ever played baseball live instead of on a game? Good contact does not guarantee a hit, period

blame nba 2k for all of these stupid people

1, yes I played ball my entire life. I know how baseball works, so you don’t need to be rude.
2. The developers outlined parameters regarding perfect perfect. He’s 83 power and I hit a High 97 MPH FB perfect perfect. It should be a HR. I’m not complaining about a low pitch lineout. It was an elevated pitch which should have left the yard in any given circumstance.
It is a game, but when he pulls a good okay outside pitch, out of the zone FB with didi for a HR and I time mine perfectly it makes absolutely no sense. That is why I am complianing, and trying to understand the parameters. I can grasp that all perfect perfect shouldn’t be rewarded, but when I hit and time a much better pitch, it should be rewarded properly. -
Don’t think it should always be a hit, but it should always be a fair ball, how did I get a perfect perfect foul ball?

Everyone knows perfect perfect isnt a 100% chance of a hr....you need to go over to the Just Early okay section.

Has anyone here ever heard a baseball announcer say "He hit in on the screws, but right to the second baseman?"
Perfect/perfect = hit it on the screws.

Not if playing in a park that's 420 to centre.

Ok so what was the wind like? You complained that your opponent got a early swing/good contact and hit a HR? If your opponents player hit the ball to center with all the exact conditions as you player, but with = or less power. Then I agree you have an argument... BUT if they were also a power hitter and hit the ball 320ft to a short porch in RF for a HR.. I would again suggest you rethink your argument.

Yeah, I don't get it other than "engagement" mechanics (ie. scripted frustration). With the exception of a handful of players, anybody in the big leagues who hits a "perfect" flyball is going to be rounding the bases.
MTX bullshvt so you keep buying the last card they released.
