Apologies, I missed your comment initially as there is so much stuff going on here. Out of all the arguments made, yours does make the most sense. I still find it unacceptable that this is being rewarded for reasons I mentioned earlier, but that's my opinion and it's okay to disagree with that.

Imo at the midpoint area is where you'd be able to tee off on any pitch depending on batters swing. It's like a shotput. Less work is need to swing that high.
