I only tried the first home run moment so far. I have not gotten it but I did have a game with 2 triples and a double. He seems to hit line drive rockets to the gap but I have not really gotten anything elevated yet.

I need one more point to finish his program and I absolutely hate playing vs cpu. I've been trying the moments on again and off again all weekend. So frustrating.
Wait until you have a "pitch 8 innings with x team" daily to do it. Put a starter and 2 relievers in your lineup, put up 3 runs and bunt the rest. Will take you 25 minutes

I've played 2 of his moments so far and have watched the pitcher throw over to first about 30 times. This is gonna be fun

The cool thing about Dawson vs the other player programs. Their speed often turned doubles into singles, but Dawson's speed often turns singles into doubles.

So trying the first one and getting nothing but perfect liners for singles. I can see this isn't going to be quick.

I take it back. It’s actually an okay card for moments. Won’t make the team of course.
Once I stopped power swinging with him he hits a lot better for some reason.

OK, directional it is, switched over and hit a hr second pitch.

Get turner off 1st base in these moments. it’s bad enough waiting for the pitcher to throw a hittable strike, you have to wait around for them to stop throwing over to 1st

He was actually picked off to end the inning in one of my attempts. Nothing like working the count to have to then start all over again next inning.

Much easier than Hernandez. Gap power and better speed. Did do most of the HR moments on directional. For some reason the 8 hits/4xb hits gave me a bit of grief (lots of singles and lots of good/okay). Cruised through the rest.

This 6 hits 2xb against the Cards is killing me. Wet noodle city.

It's infuriating, but you have to laugh. I'm doing the 6 hits 2xb (currently 4th run) and there's been a total of 9 (nine) diving catches and I'm STILL waiting on Wainwright to throw his first pitch in the zone. 40+ pitches and not a single one in the zone yet.
Personally, I completely despise Moments. A bunch of mess like this doesn't help.

Finally finished it. That was the biggest thing was not getting strikes and having to swing with 3 balls. On top of that they are all right handed pitchers with garbage sinkers.

Haha the Hernandez get 12 total bases sucked. I got lucky and hit a bomb on about my 12th attempt at the series and then hit like 6 singles and a double

Got it done, and hopefully my lack of luck supplied others with some good luck. 9 tries, 12 diving catches and Wainwright threw in the neighborhood of 120 pitches, with 3 (three) of them in the zone. Very, very few pitches in the zone in that Moment. Didn't have that in the others and got through them fairly easily. I really think Moments was one of the best ideas to be put in the game, but equally, if not far worse, the worst implementation of any game mode I may have ever played. It's Veteran, for crying out loud. I'm doing the same thing in other modes and areas, but they play far too differently in Moments.
