Even if Molitor was a brewer (which I agree with) he had some really great years with Toronto, 1993 in particular, (2nd place MVP, 2nd place batting title, WS MVP.) I think it’s okay that he finally has a good Blue Jays version.
His career arc card in 18 was a Toronto card. Conversely, Sabathias card was a Brewer.
I said good lol. You’re right, he did have a card in 18’ but it was awful.

I heard if you get a good Moliter you can catch up to most fastballs in this game!

yeah, but he was useless in 18 as were all contact hitters.
Are you saying he's useful now, will you be plugging him at First base on your main squad?

Well he had a batting average for the Dodgers, but had more power numbers with the Mets, also played more games with Mets, and well is in the Hall of Fame wearing a Met cap. The slowdown in BA is normal for an aging Catcher. Piazza is my guy, he changed the way I look at baseball, and he hit one of the most iconic homeruns ever when baseball returned after 911. Truly captivated the entire city.
Fun story , I had a Piazza rookie card when I was 7 and he was my favorite player due to the worth of said card at the time. Later on he got traded to my favorite team it was a match made in heaven for me. -

In defense of the OP, Molitor was certainly known as a Brewer. Piazza is a Met to everyone but Dodgers fans
Piazza is a Dodger to me....
You misspelled Marlin

No, probably not. But Ozzie is my shortstop, he wouldn't have been in 18.

Not true i know piazza as that guy that owns a car dealership in langhorne pa

One thing I think they got wrong with this Molitor card was the speed. He should be high 70's or even 80's... He had 22/26 steals, and he was still extremely fast in '93. Anyone who watched that year would attest. He was a total pest on the bases (along with Rickey, Alomar, White, good god so much speed that year)

Not to anybody who watched him play with the Dodgers. He hit .360 with 40 bombs one year with the Dodgers, his best years were with LA. He was on better teams in NY.

It was rated at 90+, so I thought that was what you were referring to, but I dont see anybody using him this time around either. The game plays too much to power (not as much as 18, but still too much).

Yeah, fair enough. Regardless, I’m still excited about him. He’s very similar to last years SS, but obviously doesn’t play 3rd base. I agree he’ll rarely be in anyone’s main lineup.

They made an extremely underwhelming 95 overall Griffey Jr. I'm almost 100% sure that won't be his best card in the game. I would expect a lot of guys who have diamonds now to get 99s later in the game just based off that. And the fact that they gave chipper Jones a 94 veteran card when he had a MVP season in 1999 which would warrant a better card than his 94 overall.
Truthfully I think we will see alof of these guys in stage 4 team affinity.
99 Griffey
99 chipper
Alot of others as wellI agree, but I hope it is not in stage 4 TA. I do not want to do every darn team all the way to stage 4. I do not have time for that extensive of a grind. But ya, that Griffey card is kinda crappy, but people will still be paying 300,000 stubs for it lol.

I am a Cubs fan and I consider Piazza a Dodger simply because that is when I seen him play the most on TV. Playoffs.

We know Yount is definitely coming at some point. He’s probably going to be the final TA stage card.

So the Brewers get no Legend cards until Fall? I sure hope not!
