I did a bit better by trying to hit “on top” of the ball instead of under it like most hitters. His pci center (the three vertical circles that you can customize) has the largest spot at the bottom and the smallest at the top, which means fly balls of his bat will almost always be outs.

i actually just visited the forums today because i thought to myself, "i can't be the only one mashing perfect perfects to absolutely zero effect" this moment is infuriating

I almost have no need to complete because I am close to 450 points already. Is it worth the frustration for Hernandez 88 only and possibly getting to Headliners pack?

Yeah, there's no luck involved at all. With all his power perfect fly balls are routine outs.

it isn't at all worth it, i've walked the path, admittedly was trying to complete as i did other things but do a few moments maybe and go the other routes. the 5 game and the total base moments are time sux. they just suck. and for what, Seinfeld's keith hernandez?

Yea, the Brett mission was 'fun', but don't forget Daniel Nava. 2 doubles in one game. That was brutal as well. But hey, we all got it on the first try, right?

Wasn’t Nava 4 hits in one game? Either way it was rough. And there were some other brutal ones along the way, like J.P. Crawford (2 XBH, 1 RBI in one game)
Some of those I finished quickly, but unlike some people on these forums, I never then said those missions were ‘easy’. They weren’t. I got lucky, and I’m fine admitting that.

I have gotten a number of doubles with him in the other moments so far but if these moments go like those in the past, when I actually need the doubles they will be extremely elusive.
It took me forever, but I eventually did it. Power swing at everything and pray! That's the strategy that worked for me lol.

Power swing everything and wait on high cheese or hangers. I hit a HR that was robbed in one game, and I was so pissed off, but believe it or not, I hit another one in the same game. This thing barely bounced off of the top of the wall and the fielder couldn't get to it.
