He was most likely playing on a PS4 Pro with fast connection which is a huge advantage if you are on a reg PS4. I had a guy couple days ago that i K'd 18 x's then out of no where 3 bombs in a row. Who knows with this fine piece of SW from SDS. Good luck! There are cheaters though but its not easy.

@GG_Achilles on launch night I was beat 20-2 dude scored 12 in the 9th. I didn’t quit bc I had never seen anything like it before. It was an enjoyable a$$ kicking. I knew he wasn’t cheating tho. I kept my eye on him and he ended up in the top 500 quickly.
Great players could still just be picking the game up and you were unlucky enough to be matched w them during their climb

People are terrible who play this game dude, cheating doesn’t happen online but there’s players out there who are boosted and will never admit to it

You know what bothers me more than the cheating? Those who defend it on this forum. They're probably the cheaters themselves; maybe MLB The Show should ban their accounts.

If a guy is hitting well on pitches way up and way down, sometimes I’ll throw more middle on the sides of the plate. He might have just been really good with the PCI, or maybe he jams the PCI when he sees the pitch. I’ve had success at times when I think someone is just jamming the pci and I pitch more to the middle than on the outsides (not middle-middle of course, but more around the edges inside of the zone.

I have no problem losing as I’ve stated my record but the home runs outside of the zone just seem very weird I didn’t know guys could rocket 115mph home runs from outside the zone.
Happens all the time in real life. Having it out of the zone doesn't magically make it home run proof.
It doesnt happen "all the time in real life" HRs way out of the zone are VERY VERY rare.

The PCI goes outside the zone now so that is why zone hitting is the way to go if you're good enough to use it... I've played guys mostly in BR that literally can hit any mistake and hit outside the zone too .. like another guy said.. they aren't cheating they are just really good.. or perhaps better than you but I'm not to judge.

@Victor_SDS @Collin_SDS It is time to get serious about cracking down on cheaters. You are going to seriously start losing tons of business on this game, from not buying stubs anymore to not buying next year's game, if you don't start banning players who go online and cheat. This problem must be addressed along with freezes resulting in losses for the winning team. Thank you.

No I think there is a cheat cause same here I used to play this friend of mine and dominant him all the sudden I can't get a hit and he just knocks bombs on me it's weird cause he used to chase like crazy no plate disapline all the sudden it's like he knows every pitch he used to chase ever off speed pitch outta the zone all the sudden he lays off and just swings on stuff he likes it's like he has all time guess pitch on

This was 100% my thought. On All-Star pitches above and below the zone are really easy to drive for HRs because of the gigantic PCI.

@GG_Achilles so I am not trying to sound rude like some posters on here but I assume you are somewhat new to the game with only 34 games played? The more you play the easier it will get to read other players but there are plenty of folks that sit high heat in this game. Sounds like you played one last night. Were all 8 HR's off of high heat? If so, when did you realize it and when/did you adjust?
