Also why in rtts?

When you play with a pitcher it is true that it is more difficult but I only play in the SS I only play in legend and the truth is that hitting is not that difficult for me. I am also a veteran of all editions of mlb the show.

If it is a straightforward ’use your RTTS player in DD’ then serious DD players won’t touch it, at least in its current state where attributes can’t be manipulated and maxed out.

And what about difficulty levels? An all-99 attribute RTTS player levelled up in rookie difficulty so it can then be used in DD ranked isn’t something that is going to be gifted to players. What changes will be made to the mode to prevent that?

Therein lies my concern, if RTTS has secured some decent attention, how will the mode be compromised to get DD players playing it?

Perhaps they are just moving your created player format to RTTS due to difficulty reasons?

What i mean is when created player starts out in the 60's right? So perhaps some were struggling to get their created player to progress through all star difficulty moments for instance?

This way they start out in minors with possibly tasks to achieve to progress? I dunno just a thought.

It seems to be a bug. I’ve noticed this happen occasionally with my shortstop and the equipment stats don’t show but it comes back in a game or two. If it doesn’t then exit and restart to see if that fixes it?

No story elements. It’s very obvious sports video game developers are terrible story tellers.

I think they need to make cribs with collections. Start with a cheaper house/apartment. Before you buy a nicer house you have to collect certain milestones, buy memorabilia, have a trophy case. They can be displayed as a photos on the wall for milestones (for example a picture of your player hitting his first home run), or trophy case for awards. Each subsequent house the milestones/awards/memorabilia are harder/more expensive to get

Here are my thoughts.

Personally I don’t like the personality or the relationships. I just think they’re pointless, and the fact that your attributes increase because you have a friend on the team makes no sense to me. The conversations you have with teammates or opponents just get kind of annoying after the first 5 times doing them

They do need to make the entire mode deeper. I don’t want some kind of story like nba does, because those are usually really bad. My suggestion would also be a crib. I’d like a trophy case that you put all your awards in, many the game can take “photos” of you completing milestones, and then you have a photo wall in your house. As you make more money, you can buy more houses that all have different things you can buy.

Make money matter is my biggest complaint though. There are so many ways to do it, it’s kind of astonishing they haven’t implemented something yet

Fix fielding. There’s way to many occurrences of me “having to field” when I’m not involved in the play. Getting deduction on my reaction ability because I don’t want to run to the wall for a no doubt home run annoys me

Fix the base runner glitch. Randomly runners will just disappear from basepaths. And no it’s not them getting picked off when I’m swimming or anything like that. I just had a game where I was batting with a runner on first and no outs, got a single, and all of a sudden I was the only base runner with no outs. The next guy hit a home run. This issue has been present on this game for 4 or 5 years and has never been addressed

Have the announcers/stat overlays be more engaged with your career. Mention big games more frequently, mention past results against a pitcher etc

Finally, people may disagree, but I think your player improves way too quickly. By the start of my third year (2nd big league season) I was a 90 overall. It just seems way to quick for that

There’s plenty of minor things that can be improved too

There is a way to go to the main menu. I believe it's either hitting circle when in the locker room menu, but I could be wrong, but I do know you can back out of it. As far as starting over, do you mean with the same player you made? If so, what I do is make two saves right before the first Showcase game, and use one of those saves as I progress, always leaving the second one right there at the first Showcase. I do this because the game likes to overwrite your most currently used save file, so once you get drafted it saves, so having the second file is very important.

If you mean with a brand new player, then when you go to start the mode, there is a continue option, or new option.
