Yeah, so the reprocussions of that are finally sinking in a little harder now that the content high is coming down from that stream.

I think people are greatly underestimating the impact it’ll have on DD. It sounds like a small change, but it really isn’t.

It’s a big change, and they knew people would be upset. That’s why they quickly mentioned it and immediately moved on to revealing Mantle.

Going to be less stubs on the market. Don't know if thats a good or bad thing.

Mookie Betts this year stayed in my lineup a long long time because of his many quirks, the 2 strikes one being especially useful. I think Legends are boosted enough!

That's fair, Legends are super boosted already. But someone like Juan Marichal, for example, who threw 100+ innings every 3 days should regenerate energy faster.

Exactly and who knows with Bauer insisting that he wants to pitch every 3 days maybe it'll make him a useful player

Based on what was shown only speical cards from those 2 games are included so POTM, FS and Postseason the only omission being Finest.

I could see them add a Classics pack prior to the launch of the 2020 Finest that includes the 5 or 6 finest cards for guys who wont get 2020 finest but were lower level ones like

Guys that wont break the game but are still useful.

I think it will be a 1951 Diamond 86 Willie Mays RC. Will pair with the 1951 Mantle nicely

I posted this question weeks ago and most ppl said pitch speeds are slightly increased. That added with the quirk that help pitchers throw harder is going to cause me not to be able to play anymore. ... great..

I get the digital deluxe, My son gets the hard copy. I like having the hard copy. I have 2014-2019 hard copy. The best case was when Griffey was on the cover.

I think Mantle is a must because you have to imagine he will have 90+ speed with great batting splits and above average fielding. I saw a video by GomesdaLegend on YT going deep into the stat predictions using the algorithm the developers use to determine stats.

No way mantle’s attributes are that good. He will have the speed but hit .267/.349/.443/.792 with 13 HRs and a strikeout rate of 21% his rookie season. He will have speed and decent defense but I’d be surprised if they gave him over 75 contact and 45-50 power. I guarantee all of the Face of the Franchise outfielders will be better cards than the mantle rookie

Agreed. The pre-order version will be more in line with his 1951 Rookie year. People will grab the card anyway because Mantle (I know I'm picking him) but this will not be the end game bat people are expecting based upon his career stats. He'll be a bench bat in about 2-3 weeks.

It's like waiting for xmas when you were a kid. It's so close it hurts....and I'm watching the content preview stream again

The thing is though, the 19 collection was by far the cheapest of any live series collection, with or without quickselling. And people had more stubs due to quickselling, causing inflation. There were also many more stub sales than ever before(there were only about 3-4 stubs sales each in 17 and 18) , and the live series was still cheap in comparison to 17 and 18. The live series always gets cheaper when they switch BR to 9 win diamonds. With them starting the year like that, the low diamonds will not be expensive

Yeah I guess. I just don’t necessarily think the market will be “stalled”. People might be more hesitant to use their stubs but the prices will remain pretty similar to last year
