Speaking of “glitches” I had an RS game end last night on an apparent game tying 2 run HR that was “robbed” in CF by Damon but my runners continued around the bases as though it was a HR. My lead runner “scored” and his marker disappeared after touching home. Damon threw the ball in to 2B and the defender tagged Bellinger for the final out of the game (according to the announcer). The game screen went black for 5-10 minutes and finally the game end screen (rating points gain/loss) came up and I lost (I figured as much). Just seemed weird and I’ve never had that happen in 3 years of online play.

Change your pitching view and see it it changes.

Yeah that doesn't sound right.
Close the app and reboot the system. If this continues, reinstall the game.
I don't think at this stage SDS will fix or look at any bug reports

Use ridin rosters and get a set of simulation sliders

I've never heard that. I do know that in particular stadiums it is harder for old people like me to see the trajectory of the ball coming out of the pitcher's hand depending upon the field orientation and position of the sun. Forbes Field in the daytime is notorious for this cheese.
I think the lag comes from the amount of people animated in the stands. The less going on in the outfield, the smoother the gameplay...which is why minor league stadiums are preferred.

In a big way I think it's in your head. I struggle from time to time moving from into DS. I play better once I'm in DS and CS, but I still haven't made WS. Mostly because I just never play enough to get there.
Whenever I'm trying to make the next move up or am feeling like I need a big win, I press. I'm overthinking when I should or shouldn't steal, lay down a bunt, or do a hit and run. For me it's these moments of trying to figure out the small ball game from an offensive perspective where I flounder in these "move up" type games. Also, with hitting, if I'm in swing mode, I just set the controller down or take my right hand off of it so I can only move the PCI and not hit the swing button until I have 2 strikes for every batter that inning. This forces me to watch pitches and look for patterns.
From a pitching standpoint, it's just flat out random. Finest Gerrit Cole is the prime example for me. When the game is allowing my input to dictate his pitch location, the guy is DOMINANT! When the game just leaves pitches over the plate, but my input wasn't near that location, he gets shelled. To me, this is almost completely uncontrollable. The biggest thing I've tried to do is pay attention to which pitches seem to be doing it and throw them much less. At the same time, I try and slow my pitching down a bit and change the rhythm and speed of the way I pitch each inning and sometimes each batter. Only other thing I try is intentionally throwing an awful pitch nowhere near the plate if I'm up 0-1 in the count or have a 1-1 count. Usually if I'm throwing it completely out of the zone, even a pitch the game tries to bring in still isn't hittable.
Hopefully these are some helpful ideas or ways to look at some of this stuff.

I'd say save your money and don't pre-order MLB '20

I think they should add some HoF or Best of the Decade Moments, to close out the 11th Inning Program.

This is a wonderful incentive for pre orders. I am looking forward to playing 20’ as early as possible. I’d end up dropping the $ on the stubs anyways lol

I think opening a game to back-to-back "Very Late/Jammed" doubles for a run hurt my soul than most results.

I’ll comment on this. I played 3 ranked games where it was 1-0 which I won. The first myself and my opponent dealt with constant hard outs. My last two game I had at least 40 plus good goods that were hard outs.

I had a bunch of lag scrolling through menus too. It was weird. Don't know why.

I think the "Q" that should be asked is why does it even matter? Really? Games are so very very very rare where you run out of pitchers & need to rely on 1 or 2 position players to actually pitch. Why would need need stat records kept of how they preformed. Will you use every single position player to pitch to see which 1 is better? If you running out of pitchers like that often, then the problem is more with yourself. You changing pitchers within a game too frequently & recklessly. Do not concern yourself with lefty/righty match-up for just 1 batter only. Look at the stats for the next 3-6 batters you will be facing & which has a better match with using a lefty or a righty for the next 3-6 batters. This way you can get 1-2 innings out of that 1 pitcher rather just just for 1 batter only.

im talking about ive played a honest 18 inning game used all my bullpen, in DD you cant use a starter in releif, so my bulllpen has been used up and i have had to use a position player. play me sometime....jake93436psn

Regardless, why should it even matter that pitching stats are not kept for position players who may pitch 1 every 100 games played in MLBTS.
