Every time there is a trade, call up, player lock, mid season, playoff series, or anything different the CPU changes the lineup. It’s so frustrating having to check your lineup and having to waste a bench bat to fix your lineup every time you start a new game. The bullpen is even worse, I purposely move pictchers to long relief so I don’t have to pitch with them, only to have them returned a couples of games later by CPU.

I want to have control over my defensive alignment in those pitcher lock moments. I don’t know how many cheap doubles that I’ve given up to the shift or not guarding the lines in key situations.

I did regular season hall of fame. SDS changed affinity with the last patch so I got a lot more points after the all star break even though both were max. After losing the first playoff game, I dropped to all star because I didn’t want to have to play 3 full games if I lost the next one. I beat the braves in the World Series.

Trades: Villar for prospect. I tried to go after some big names, but never really got great offers.

Definitely would have been less time if I didn’t play 14 total extra innings and I had one game player locked as a pitcher after calling him up from minors. Several people say that it can be done in 8 hours if you push it and avoid extras or pitching.

I tried my first 1 on VET and it seem to only take 4 hours for Reg Season, 3 hours for PO. When I tried on AS it took longer, I lost more games had to play more games and more games in extra innings. For time it is better just to play on Vet destroy the CPU and only do the reg season. I am just doing it for TA and for fun and I will continue to play on VET.

The extra innings add up. A few here a few there and all of a sudden you’ve played an extra hour. You also want to avoid player lock as a pitcher if possible by not calling one up or trading for one.

Yeah I figure that one out after the first go around, and trading for 1 take another 20-30 min. I will avoid that maybe depending on team I am using.

The hard the difficulty the more TA points if you can MAX out.

I had to start a game top of the 4th.

Just finished my eighth regular season in MtO, with the Nats. Sure enough, Ohtani finished 5-17 with a 9.17 ERA, 161IP 225Ks 30Hrs allowed 2.17WHIP. 2 Quality Starts though, so there's that.

edit - also this MtO became an absolute slog with how frequently the game wanted me to finish a No-hitter with Patrick Corbin after the AS break.

Reminds me of Rich Hill's No-No vs the pirates a few years ago. 0-0 game, went into the bottom 10 and gave up a solo shot for the loss

Is this a defect or is it really not meant to work with family sharing of the PS Plus account?

The kids 10 years old and just grinder through a Cardinals MTO season and doesn't get why he doesn't have Yadi.

put in a bug report. PS plus only relates to H2H play for mlbTS, you are experiencing something different.he should be able to complete it, but find out if he closed app to redo the mto games- doing that will make you ineligible to receive to TA pts.

I can go through a whole season and not lose any challenge, except these. Usually within 1 or 2 batters.

My last game I started in the 6th down 7-0 to the Yankees against Cole. After winning the first two games mind you. So yeah momentum means nada in the playoffs.

In the main menu there’s a manage user data option (can’t remember the name). Save files for any mode can be deleted from there.

Dashboarding is when people close the program while in the middle of a game. For example, you are about to get walked off, but you hit the ps button and close the game so you can go back to the last save.

They put safeguards so people don’t abuse. There were warnings in the past if you did it, but there have been several posts like yours where people said they didn’t get rewards even after once or if their power went out.

By the time you reach 70/70 you shouldn't keep playing it unless when they release stage 2 then you can do new MTO.

these guys are about right. i started Houston yesterday morning and played an hour or two then yesterday for an hour or two and i've got like 20 games left in regular season of which i'll prolly play 2-3 of those based on the simulation. They do, but you get more team affinity than you do in the regular season.

Depends on the team you have and difficulty. With the Twins SP Balsovcic was 72 A Potential and Dobnak 74 B potential. Twins SPs after Berrios, Mazda and Odorizzi are horrible. Pineda 73 D with three pitches and a 39 yr old Rich Hill. Twins offense was pretty set though I did get offered Freddie Freeman and could pass it up.
They prompted Balsovecic in May maybe...first start vs Yankees pitched 9 innings 3 hit shutout with 12 ks. He ended up being an 84 Overall. Now have 4 very solid starters vs Astros ALCS...

I thought I was but I'll have to double check. This is the 3rd MTO I am doing and I think I am at a point where I would have midseason points by now.
