So....Does K/9 do anything other than increase the likelihood of a K? What do vision, clutch, steal, bag aggression etc do other than increase the likelihood of a result?

K/9 and vision - outer pci size
H/9 and contact - inner pci size

Clutch comes into play with a risp (2nd base or 3rd), and not sure to the extent pitching vs batter clutch has an effect. Some more transparency on SDS’ end would resolve many of the unknowns.

Decent idea but you get an F for execution. Lobbies for ranked would be a playground for boosting. The only approach would be to have it as a standalone and roster similar to events. A lobby in general would be nice for non-ranked gameplay and scrims though since casual mode is barren

Stargell is also the alternative possibility for the giants but I think he’s another one best suited for a headliner pack. The same could even be said for marichal. Maybe they toss us a bone and give us one of the guys we’re really itching for.

Big Collection? We all want Hank Aaron but I feel since he’s the biggest addition to the roster in ‘21 that they would make him more easily accessible to everyone. I could see it being Mantle despite the argument of him being the LS collection last year.

Skill does still matter otherwise I wouldn’t have went 82-10 last year and 26-2 so far this year. However, I find each year since the golden days of mlb15-17 the skill gap does continue to lessen. That’s just the mechanics of the game in DD. Custom leagues or playing a game outside the mode the game plays so much cleaner with none of the rng, I haven’t played in one this year to confirm but every year prior the gameplay there had none of the BS that DD does.

Want to add it’s a miracle I’ve managed both those records considering how ridiculous it’s gotten. And it’s a shame the other modes died. The only thing that could rope me back in next year is if we have a new engine with the pci actually replicating the baseball bat. Even with that, the carnival game stuff is here unfortunately. There’s too much money to be made by appealing to everyone rather than the hardcore base.

I noticed this as well but I think we all just adjusted to it. Only way to truly tell is to go back to 60 hz for an hour, see how it feels, then put 120 back on and compare

My gripe is there isn’t consistency and that it defies the laws of physics. If I release a fastball late then it should be lower where I initially intended. Release early, and ball should land above the intended spot. There’s no consistency, and it seems to always go in the opponents favor for “balancing” cause you’re slappin em.
