My favourite part of each year’s game is the first couple of weeks when you need to build your team up from scratch and make difficult lineups choices. I booked the first day of S2 off work and it was insanely fun basically having a second launch day… I will probably do the same thing for the first day of S3.

I’ve also noticed positive changes to the gameplay since they tuned the foul ball frequency. I’ve seen much more realistic strikeout totals online since the patch.

Excellent game this year SDS, I wish I didn’t have to go to work and could just play all day every day.

Good post … agree 100%, except: If you did not have to work you would probably have more time to see that the game lacks content.
In 21 we had some awesome player programs (e.g. evolution), we had The Field of Dreams program, TA, POTM, Daily programs … there was way more stuff to do for everybody. RN you only have TA, Season Awards and some random programs that give nothing … Again, agree 100%, good game, but there should be more to make it a great game

Guys, nobody said you have to do TA in 3 days. Take your time, get more cards (new program incoming) and play the game.
Also: I get some frustration, but we are all casuals here and you need to balance it a little bit… I also trust the process, if SDS realizes people struggling they can react … but not before official launch

If you really did not buy a game because of a cover athlete decision … I cannot take this post seriously

a substitution is not a glitch … it is supposed to be in the game

Since 21 I learned a lot about the market … and how to make stubs. I completed LS after a couple of weeks … each year.
The last 2 years I got better and better and was able to get every card that was buyable without thinking.

This „experience“ got really worse last year. I finshed the game cycle with every card and prox 25M stubs.
But I had no fun doing the collecting part of the game. I still lost as many games late in the year as I did in the early weeks.

So this year, I will just go no-flip at all. I open the packs I can get and if I like a card, I keep it. If I don‘t I will sell it.
And I will not buy more than 1 card to make stubs off of them (I bought Gary Sanchez bc I wanted to get the Orioles TA captain … after that I sold him)

After roughly two weeks (I had a late start into the year) this is my early summary:

• Packs are more fun for me again, e.g. today I was really happy pulling Judge
• I still win more games than I lose (I started the year with 2 connection losses on my part and I was too stupid controlling the pause timer)
• So … It does not matter what cards you have (which is not a new thing ). Today I played someone with most of collections done and Sasaki on the mound. I still won

Maybe this helps some people who think that this game is pay to win and are too eager to get stubs flipping the hell out of the market.

I have such a blast … building theme teams with MLB teams. I won with Guardians, Royals and Twins-Theme teams … against god squads … You gotta try it

Bad, very bad take … maybe the worst of them all … ever … you signed the code of conduct logging into the game. It is clearly a glitch, SDS confirmed it.
I don‘t want to be a part of this.

There are definetly no new hidden rewards, if you replay … The rest is the right answer.
@BxnnyMxn__PSN And of course, you can replay it … I would suggest you switch to Mini seasons where you‘ll get more rewards for short games against the CPU

Thanks to some weird and annoying bots (Yes, there are a big problem on xbox) and a couple of close wins I managed to get over 700.

So I played my 3 games on HOF-difficulty. Yes, it could be my opponents but comparing to random 3 games of All-Star the game actually played like a baseball game. I have fewer hits but less pitches are sent into orbit …

Yes, there are still too many foul balls, but gameplay is much better up there (and yes, it is a heavy grind for me playing there)

Congrats on being good. You will win your next 4-5 and reach legend. That is where the true skill lays …
I enjoy HoF very much, for me it is a perfect difficulty and much better than All-Star (at least to how the game plays this year)

To me, this is just one-dimensional … there are two sides of the medal …

After 2 near-full-days of playing (I missed the first week) and close to 300K XP … here are my …

The Good:

• I experienced zero fluke homeruns due to bad stadiums (this is my major W)
• Fielding matters … It is helluva fun to experiment a good lineup, weighing out the pros and cons of each player in my binder
• Programs … we got 3 for early access and another one this week (with the next just around the corner).
• TA is (although it is a pretty long grind) very well designed. I only know TA since 21, but this way there is way more focus on each team. The silver/golds are very nicely chosen (and are extremely good for BR-purposes)
• Multiplayer Program: I am (just) at 10 points, but it looks pretty challenging
• Diamond Quest: It is very challenging … you have to focus on each challenge and take it seriously (bc in contrast to the moments in programs there is no restart). I did Schultz/Bazzana on Goat and had a very heavy bunt/squeeze nailbiter. That made it pretty rewarding … I will have to take a few tries and figure out another way
• Ambush … I like that you can gamble with the opponent‘s pitch sequencing …

The Bad:

• Commentary: It is the first time since 21, where I am close to turning it off. It is not just the „base hit to RF“-bug, but it is way too repetitive and just stale
• Menu freezing (I had close to 25 freezes … in 2 days), where I had to restart the app
• You have to pay 1500 stubs for BR although you may never go flawless. Why not 0?
• The attributes in the lineup screens are broken and not correct. e.g. you can switch players out-of-position and they do not get a fielding penalty (at least in the lineup screens)

Overall: Good job @SDS … I am pretty satisfied, although it is just 2 days . My main wish (no fluke homeruns in bad stadiums) is fulfilled

I am pretty interested in your positive things (it is way easier to complain )

After we have drop 3 it is time to post some early feedback on the program style itself.

How far are you? Will you finish the program?
What did you like and what didn‘t you like at all?

As usual, I will try with some

The Good:

• I like that there are multiple ways to attack the program. I could do some of the missions with playing some casual events
• I liked the reward although I sucked with Davis. Pendleton and Varitek did very good for me
• Good overall rewards

The Bad:

• I just realised today that in order to get to 150 points you need to do all the tasks. This included one BR-run I had to pay 1500 stubs for to get to 10 runs. The missions forced me to used cards I did not like a little too often
• My proposal @SDS: Put in some extra missions to have people decide for themselves what to do (or not). Some people like BR, some events and some people want to use their god squad. Please put in a little more variety

First of all: I did not want to use the all-negative-(business as usual)-thread that exists

What do I like:

• Big program
• Lots of new cards
• New series
• new collection
• New nice mini season format
• Exciting Diamond Quest … A moonshot version … imo the easiest so far, I beat both stadiums on HOF like 7-1 … and I got all the rewards
• Nice multiplier
• The best: There are lots of cards that fit the moonshot theme … That is something different and really refreshing coming from the last 2 years, where we basically had multiple high-diamonds of the same players (OOP out-of-scope )

What do I not like:

• Too many cards (again) necessary for the big collection
• Not enough ways to earn some packs for free (could be more)

But … awesome program, that was a heck of a job !!!

If only people that pretend to not buy the game would also not waste their time on the corresponding forum …
Guys, it is okay to be unsatisfied … Give feedback, maybe it is welcomed … If the product is not the way you are okay with spending your money, that is your right to not buy it. But … it is also okay for people to like the game, because they do not care about e.g. Franchise or RTTS

I would place a bet on Gibson being the 9th guy (every team has 9 guys in their lineup ) they reveil some time later (in the upcoming weeks)
