I agree, this map seems more annoying than the Extreme map. A horrible Conquest.

Speaking of which, Ron Cey's 1981 WS card would be awesome. Hopefully, he gets added to the game.
(5/1/22 - 5/30/22):
WAR
HRs
RBIs
Runs
Just today is left, and Betts looks to have solidified his case. If defense is taken into consideration, then his case for POTM is overwhelming. Him already getting a 95 card should have nothing to do with May POTM. This has nothing to do with "SDS's love for Betts", as he has earned every bit of it.

Yeah I used to think that also. However, while CK is legendary, HGWMV was like this year's Derby winner, who had his epic moment. HGWMV is an excellent film regarding Welsh miners. The economic, social, and family dynamics were well depicted and still relevant today. Both are excellent films.
A Milestone 30/30 Reds Eric Davis card would be nice.
His 37 HR with 50 SB in ONLY 129 games in 1987 is still unmatched by anyone!
Trevor Bauer recently went through a stretch of throwing over 20 consecutive Sliders to Manny Machado in 4 abs (most were considerably off the plate, with a few painted on the corner). Bauer had pretty good results (2 SO's, a ground out, and a HR)... So it does happen.

Create a RP, put him in the bullpen, switch the archetype to The Houdini. Delete all other loadouts, when you go into a game it will say you have no active loadout. Just press circle and you'll have whichever loadout is equipped.
Houdini can reach 125 h/9, 125 k/9, with max velo. My CAP threw 102, 71, 85, 92, 94. Oh and upwards of 110 Stammy
What are your four perks for this beast?
I hate playing in those stupid created "baseball" stadiums that look like a toddler put together. Flying dinosaurs do not belong in a competitive online h2h MLBTS baseball game. Leave the community created stadiums to offline modes ONLY.
I live in Los Angeles but spend most of the summer in Atlanta. In LA, I usually get matched with Dodgers or Angels fans, and during the summer, I usually get matched with Braves fans...or college themed teams such as Alabama or Vandy.
@untchable704_psn said in Contact swing:
What exactly is a contact swing in real life. Anybody know?
In RL:
A contact swing is a shortened/compact swing with the intent for max contact on any pitch thrown in any zone over the plate (max plate coverage).
A power swing is a longer/full swing with the intent for max power on a specific pitch thrown in a specific zone over the plate (minimal plate coverage).
A normal swing is basically combination of the two.
Note: For the same reason that some contact swings result in great exit velo, is why some power swings result in little exit velo --- physics.
I am curious, is there still a bit of Pitcher RNG, even with Pinpoint?
In other words, if you use pinpoint and have perfect input on every single pitch, there is still a remote chance of a hanger based on the Pitcher ratings, right?
I ask this because I doubt you could use a common pitcher and get perfect results on every pitch regardless of the input method.
While I am not anywhere close to NMS, considering today's environment of microtranactions and pay to win gaming culture, I am glad gamers who play this game can build excellent teams with NMS. Being able to be competitive with NMS is one of the bright spots of this sports gaming franchise.

Okay going to try this again. On your Diamond Dynasty page. The one with your player standing there and your team on the right. Your logo is on the right side of your players head. Besides your team name. How do you change that. I have tried everything but I can’t find a way to change it. Hell, I don’t even know how the one that is there got there. Please help, thanks!
Change the logo on your "Home Uniform Hat". That is the logo that will be displayed in your box score, game summary, and other areas online. (it may take a bit for the change to be noticed)
@zkeymonkey_psn said in No valid loadouts found for the position?:
FIX
Put a on random bronze archetype such as cheese or painter on your pitcher build, and then put your CAP in the pen. Once he’s in there, put your usual upgraded archetype back on
Thanks! That worked for me too.

Uh oh. You gonna make the sds apologists mad that you even suggest DDA. Ive noted a few times on here that DDA is a actual thing, and makes for Modes like DD, muT, and Fut thrive. They release these new cards all the time, and that makes Johnny thinks if spend such and such real money the latest and greatest card will prevent him from losing which we know it won't.
I'll believe in DDA when mercy rules in this game cease to exist. If DDA was truly a think mercy rules would simply not happen ever. 90% of the "this game has DDA" posts are made by a player that left his pitcher in to long or brought in a scrub reliever and lost in the late innings. There just isn't enough proof that it exists. Anyway doesn't EA have a patent on the entire concept of DDA?
Do you know how there are mercy rules? Because people leave their pitchers in too long and that trumps any DDA. Do mound visits and switch pitchers and the chances of you being mercied are extremely rare. The game will help you out if you are losing and give you chances.
Ironically leaving pitchers in too long is what prompts most of these DDA posts in the first place. You really think SDS has the ability to program defensive animations to favor/go against people based on situation? You are giving them too much credit if that's the case. They haven't gotten catcher fielding right in the entire history of this game being online. You thinking they have the capability of programming DDA is laughable
So Madden doesn't program in fumbles when you are about to go ahead 21-0? I'll give you more examples. Ball to the gap. Your 99 speed outfielder physically slows down when you are in the lead and the ball drops. However, if you are behind he speeds up and makes the catch. Are you saying you have never seen players speed up or slow down. If so you are not only naive but blind. You may want to get your eyes checked. It happens all the time.
There is DDA in madden. I'll give you that. Because EA has a patent on the concept. Just seems strange to me that the person that thinks McDonalds wifi or a phone hotspot helps you out in this game more that a good internet connection thinks that outfielders speeding up is DDA and not connection based
I did not believe that hotspot "hypothesis" either, but I am a believer now. Last year my 400gbps internet went out and had to switch to my phone's < 3gbps hotspot and actually saw the ball better and the feedback was usually more accurate. I actually went 14-1 in a HOF Event (my personal best) a couple of years ago at my family's home one summer, when their internet speed was as bad as dial-up quality....There are a couple of more examples of this that I could give and while I do not know why the hotspot or a slower internet connection speed seems to work better sometimes.... after having to experience it myself, I second his hypothesis.
Guys, I just found @D_e_m_I_s_E_PSN ’s burner account!!!
lol no, but here is my guess of why he may be correct:
A P2P connection will connect at the lowest upload speed, therefore, if you are the player with the slower upload speed (hotspot), your connection will determine the speed of the data transfer rate. However, if you have the superior connection, then your gaming experience may seem "slower" due to latency from your superior download speed being so much greater than the other player's inferior upload speed. Your superior connection is basically downloading the data bit by bit at an (overall rate) faster than it is being uploaded.... so a frame or two may be delayed on your end due to the upload speed of the hotspot having so much lag and being inconsistent.

I usually do not get anything great in packs, but, I did get a notification yesterday that one of my PSN friends pulled Trout from a standard pack....for whatever that is worth.
While RJ and Pitt Bonds cards would be great, none of those "juiced" cards should be allowed into any MLB licensed group, game platform, or network space before Pete Rose.
@driuigi_xbl said in Anybody use the 93 Clemente yet?:
I haven't but generally the player's swing doesn't change from card to card (only time I can remember was Chipper last year and Hanley Ramirez two years ago).
I found the 85s swing to be a disaster so it isn't going to make a difference what you do with his stats. He is probably the new Cal Ripken, imo
I hope you are wrong... #21 was a legendary hitter and his cards should reflect that.
Offline vs CPU Sliders in Showdown, Moments, or whatever is always being buffed and manipulated and that is nothing new.
What matters most is that they leave online h2h alone. Hopefully they do not need to touch online competitive modes, at all, this year.
