Anybody use the 93 Clemente yet?
-
Just curious how he plays.

I haven't but generally the player's swing doesn't change from card to card (only time I can remember was Chipper last year and Hanley Ramirez two years ago).
I found the 85s swing to be a disaster so it isn't going to make a difference what you do with his stats. He is probably the new Cal Ripken, imo

I hope you are wrong... #21 was a legendary hitter and his cards should reflect that.

I hope I'm wrong too, it sucks when they add in a new legend with a god awful swing that you feel you can't use the card unless you want to gimp your lineup. I was a Cal Ripken fan growing up, every year I try to pick up his "juiced card" every year its the same story and he generally gets sold a couple weeks later

Do you guys think this will be the best Clemente this year?

Tell that to Cal Ripens card. Its ruined every year and it sucks because SS is a thin position as far as great hitting and fielding goes.

Clementes swing is solid if you time it right. Worst swing for me has been Mays. For some reason I just can’t time it right. Ripken’s is a close second I have t been able to hit with him consistently for years.

I feel odd for loving Ripken's swing now. The problem is I usually love someone else's more. Last year it was Brad Miller. I'm probably the only person who gets excited seeing a good Brad Miller card lol. I really want to run with clemente too, but I'm not sure if it was his swing or lack of power that made me hate his 85.

So nobody has actually used him? lol
