I like the Brent Rooker from the moonshot program. He's pretty beastly.

While Diamond Dynasty is pretty absurd in general, it's always been fun to collect the cards and be able to play with nostalgic players. But the out of position thing...I haven't looked into it enough, but I don't see any correlation. Maybe if the position players being turned into pitchers had actually pitched, or the pitchers had played a position (I saw someone mention Trevor Hoffman, go ahead and make him a SS or 3B). Or Kenley Jansen as a catcher. But to just throw a random player to a random position (Which, at first glance seems to be what's happening), that's just blah.

I'd rather a fictional character thing. Or some random, ridiculous theme a la the secret characters from NBA Jam.

Hell, give us celebrities or presidents or cartoon/movie/tv characters. I'd rather bring in Rick Vaughn to close out a game or put in Porky Pig at catcher than use Randy Johnson as an outfielder or whatever.

So...in this dumb new conquest map...do the home stadiums change?

And what did the Yankees do to deserve to be shipped off to Oakland? I'm not even a fan, but that just seems cruel and unusual. Shoulda put the White Sox there.

I could see this being a decent idea if it were more sparse, and things that actually happened (i.e. a 2nd Base Anthony Rizzo from the Cubs...ah, what a nice fantasy baseball exploit that in 2017.) or some other outliers, but just taking a random player and assigning them whatever position is just kinda nonsense.

The only time I've ever had that happen to me, it was a controller issue. My cursor would go crazy, but I changed controllers, and it was fine.

Juan Soto isn't a very good fielder...He's not bad, but he's not very good. He's pretty much replacement level, if not slightly below. It just kinda is what it is. He's not paid to be Andruw Jones. He's paid to hit. Hence him being stuck in left field, a traditional spot to hide great hitters with poor defensive skills. Sadly, he's probably having the best defensive year of his career thus far, and still contributing negatively overall.

How many WS has Milwaukee won in their entire existence? Literally zero.

With their 93 year head start, the Cubs have amassed 3. In one of the biggest markets in the country. 3. And 2 of those were in the 1900s. So, that’s not as big a dig as you think it is.

It's not just an update.

Server maintenance shouldn’t take more than a few minutes, unless there’s a big issue. There should not be a big issue this far into the game cycle.

My dad was a big fan of Elvis and Johnny Cash, and I agree with Cash for sure. I liked Lenon’s scratchy voice way more than Paul, especially on songs like Revolution. The Stone Temple Pilots’ cover was great (and sadly both performers died too soon).

It’s because they’re the most overrated band in history.

Lee has been solid for me. I only used Oswalt once, and he wasn’t great, but that’s not a good indicator.
