Thanks for your replies everyone, it was helpful. I use meter but I did end up changing his windup and it seemed to "normalize" the speed of release. I still have a feeling his specific windup is moving too fast on meter because other relievers that have quick windups don't have that fast of a meter release. Nevertheless, changing his windup altogether does seem to change the overall speed in lower leverage moments.

I was talking about the meter release - no his actual wind up. The meter is really fast. Typically it can be slower, especially in low pressure situations for all pitchers and in the game when they’re rattled the release meter gets faster. Am I making sense here? Idk if I’m explaining it well.
Or are ya’ll thinking that the meter does go fast on purpose due to his actual pitching mechanic?

I’m going to submit a ticket but I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
When pitching with Gregory Soto, his pitching meter is very fast. Even in low pressure situations, it’s a fast speed. I’ve also edited his attributes to see if it would make a difference and it doesn’t change - the release is still very fast and difficult to make an accurate pitch.

Most likely the player but they had a face scan for him too. He played previous years mostly with Phillies and Rockies. He went overseas to start this season.

@dodgers19k88_MLBTS Im not complaining and im not asking for them to deliver scans for every single player. You can be less impulsive and refrain from just randomly chiming in if you aren’t going to deliver any thoughtful part of the discussion.
Take a lesson from @stinkymcpooter_xbl response. That was actually helpful because the last 2 bullet points I wasn’t aware of and I have tried to research and read as much on the forum before weighing in. All I’m saying is that there has been extremely limited transparency and for some players, it has taken away of their aspect of enjoyment. I’ll have to sift through the forum and find where the last 2 bullet points where shared, which is great that there is u formation available to us but I think we can all agree that for several years now there hasn’t been a lot of transparency as to how this process is done. We don’t necessarily deserve it, but at the same time, I was asking for it because there has been a lot of speculations and insults being hurled around on the forum.
Thank you, @stinkymcpooter_xbl for your thoughtful response. As for the Dodger username guy, not helpful and not even relevant.

Some of you may feel frustrated by the constant posts but I too am in agreeable with @polkrout_xbl. I realize that SDS briefly dropped something in about scans in the chat last week but it was incredibly vague and left a lot of interpretation and more to be desired.
There still isn’t complete, deliverable transparency and to be quite frank for me at least; it really ruins Franchise. I’ll start a Franchise and then a ton of players get scans and I have this urge to restart. Again, solely my problem but I’m certain a lot of others are experiencing this - almost like the toxic relationship you keep going back to. -
@stinkymcpooter_xbl @browning954_psn another workaround I found if you don't want to turn on "Force Trades" is you can edit their potential. Sometimes editing rating doesn't make as much movement for trading but if you for example, take Trout and edit his rating and his potential, the team typically has more desire to move him.

A lot of people are frustrated because there is no transparency about how scans are sent released. Some feel SDS is slowly releasing scans and some feel it’s happening as the season progresses. Transparency might help limit these posts. Is it that difficult for SDS to come out with a statement surrounding this? Also, for people truly upset with lack of transparency or the lack of scans, they should submit a ticket.

Can you actually switch pitch with him?

For the legends, are you able to have them wear their numbers? Or are they blocked out? For example Will Clark #22 is retired now so he probably can’t wear it with SF

It seems to be a prioritization of roster updates for Franchise mode. A lot of DD players were upset and thinking this leaves them out - but I don't think that's the case. I think it's simply that Franchise will receive more updates on the roster related to how players perform and move throughout the season. Almost what they have been doing for at least the last 5 years. It's vague and doesn't deliver much promise but maybe a good faith attempt to show Franchise player's they're thinking of them.
Completely unrelated - I really enjoy the player models in the game and the realism it delivers - I wrote to SDS asking for transparency on this topic. I also asked them to allow our FaceScans of ourselves to be merged into Franchise mode with our created player and at the very least, they give a lot of DD cards to 25-40 man roster players, so it would be nice in Franchise mode they do the same. Not like the super fancy, gotta grind for it DD cards, but the one's where it's a portrait of a player on their current team. So if Dylan Beavers for example doesn't have a genuine FaceScan, at least when people click on his card, it shows a picture of him. Same with starting pitchers such as Chase Burns, in the load matchup screen. It could be a simple addition to next years game and I may only be speaking for myself but I think a lot of other players of Franchise mode would appreciate it and the realism that it lends to the game.

Did you notice that Will Taylor (PIT Prospect) and some others such as Joe La Sorsa were apparently updated but when you load the current roster, they’re generic faces. Anyone else seeing that or is it actual player models now?
-
Does anyone know how to have MLB players on the actual MLB Roster when you start a Franchise? When I use the Live Roster to start a Franchise, the CPU's keep some of their top players (who are injured in real life) still in AAA.
I've always had to manually edit each roster before beginning but wondering if anyone has a workaround?
-
Any update on new player models with the roster update? Sometimes they sneak them in there
-
@thebigpapa55_psn have you been to spring training and seen the face scan stand to verify this?
I think it’s a good point to make that it’s slowly leaked throughout the season, which is cool that more scans are added but specifically for Franchise players, it’s really disappointing
-
Did they do an update recently to make it smoother or did it just happen? I noticed it for the first time yesterday
-
Still curious about this. Can anyone who has purchased the game share?
-
I also had a question about that. I posted it on the general forum under WBC 2023 vs WBC 2026. Would love to know some people’s thoughts
-
In MLB 23, they had a roster with a handful of players from the WBC that you could then save and upload for Franchise.
Is that feature available this year? Or is it largely WBC players being available only in Diamond Dynasty?
-
Does anyone know if this is a feature in Franchise Mode (or other modes) that can be turned off? Would be great to see implemented in MLB 26.
Also, wondering if user FaceScans will be specifically for RTTS still or if it has transcended to Franchise mode.
