I try not to be negative beciase that’s all I seem to see on here but is it me or is every outfielder a gold glover robbing home runs over the fence lol. Maybe it seems like a higher rate but it’s not and I’m just noticing more. Maybe I’m being crybaby whiner lol

I can almost flip while working and buy the lighting card just as fast and save myself the hassle and just do the program for fun at my own pace.

That. Plus I notice that certain times of day have peaks. I’ve been flipping over the last two days ( started with 10k over 200k on my way to Trout) via my phone and the marketplace I’ve noticed that for non live series diamonds 10-12 am and 4-6pm are the best times to sell. 8-10am and 8-11pm best times to buy. All CST.

Also if you see a margin of 250 or more you’ll see an “unexpected” and nonsensical” order of 50 bringing down the potential for stub making.

The issue with pitchers in this game is because it’s not real life, finesse pitchers like Maddox are not as playable as hard throwers. That’s why the K9 is so important to the ratings. Pitching to contact doesn’t apply to a video game lol

Edit: not saying Alcantra or Maddox can’t strike people out but that’s not the focus of their style

According to baseball reference he is 17th all-time in war for third baseman and he’s also 17th all time for war within a seven year period. Unless he’s got a couple good years in him I don’t see it happening. Scott Rolen is a 70 War and May get in next year (for reference)

I finally decided to play an event this weekend. I played 4 games (2 entries). I straight up lost 1 game and wasn't hitting very well. The lag threw off my timing, but to be expected. In the other 3 games, like clockwork, they couldn't hit me at all. Pitching is my strong suit. but the last batter, which was a sub for the pitcher in all 3 games, 1st pitch homer with the ball out of the strike zone for the win (I was the visiting team all 3 times). Has this specific situation happened to anyone else? After it happened in the last game I though, maybe if I try to play online again and this situation happens, I will just hit his sub. Thoughts???

I seem to notice that those occasional fat pitches, even with good inputs, happen just like that. Last inning and pinch hitter.

I have just 24 hours of play time (started late this year) and have all the cards but the big 91+‘s no money spent however I was given a gift are for my birthday. I’ll get them all before to long. The marketplace is a great thing.

With that said. Yes it’s a grind but if it was easy I wouldn’t be playing it honestly.

So I don’t usually play BR can you explain why it helps to parallel up more than other things?

Its not any different, but the card is not released yet, so BR is the only way right now to use and earn pxp for it

I’m hardly a fanboy or a defender and you should know that already having seen me post over the years. Last years game, although not my favorite, is head and shoulder better than 22. Pretty funny YOU calling me a fanboy. LMAO

What are the big differences in 21 and 22 that make you think that? Just an honest question because I can’t put my finger on it. It seems to play very similar to 21 but juiced up defense. It seems like there’s more than that though.

Just my opinion but I think the timing windows are different and for the record the outer PCI which allows you to foul off pitch after pitch is nonsense especially on the 3rd strike

Is that why my Ks are down. The only thing that I'm decent at is the pitching and I noticed that but I thought it was me.

I just started playing and didn't pay attention to the missions. This is a good topic.

I am not a good online player. I play for DD and RTTS (some online when needed) no money or little money if I'm gifted a gift card or something, but I'm either so bad that game play doesn't change for me because I don't seem to notice it. The last couple years the only thing I've noticed is way too many perfect/perfect flyouts to centerfield.

The marketplace is slower and less profitable this year compared to last year and especially the year before. I assumed adding xbox and wii would have made it better. Is it the new quick sell values making investments and flipping different? I can't explain it but as always, I guess it could just be me and my lack of skills lol
