People were wondering why they didn't hype Season 4 content earlier. Well, there just wasn't anything worth hyping, sadly.

This exactly for me as well. I chose to play online to get Clemente, but it's not my preference. I enjoy mission based content and the collecting of cards especially players I loved like Piazza.

As a man who has passed the mid-way point in life, I really don't feel like dealing with kids using all the exploits they see on youtube to win instead of playing the game the way it was meant to be played.

This is such a terrible take. So people should have no responsibility for their actions? 95% of the people play within the normal baseball rules and etiquette and then you run into these yahoos who mess it up for everyone but SDS is to blame. This is the same mentality that blames the gun when someone gets shot.

So SDS is supposed to lock the platform down so tightly that they can only do certain actions? Yeah, I am sure that would work out well and not cause the online experience to be 1000x worse than it is today when you can't bunt because of some glitch meant to prevent a user from bunting all day as you stated.

A search filter that allows you to eliminate no sell cards would be cool too!

You might be right but Im not even sure I'd call this pay to win. At this point in the game cycle lots of people have millions of stubs. Id be happy to use stubs to buy all the TA cards to get Mookie and Foxx and Kluber quicker. To me it feels like maybe this year they were trying to cater a bit more to the offline grinders at the expense of people who like to play primarily online. Id love to get Mookie and all the collection cards but I dont feel like going through all the offline stuff again.

I don't agree with this at all. Not sure who they were trying to cater to, but it isn't the offline grinders. As an offline grinder, I have no desire at all to grind for these 97 TA4 and 97 Season 4 players. No one wants to put in the amount of time it takes to finish TA for players that won't even start on your team, including the 99's in the collection. If this was their attempt to cater to offline grinders, they missed the mark by a huge margin.

This is true of modern day pitchers because they aren't conditioned to throw more that 110-120 and are usually shut down once they pass 100.. However, if you go back into the 70's/80's and prior people would get into the 200's (Nolan Ryan) and go back into the 20's and there was a game where both pitchers threw over 300 pitches. I do remember Al Leiter throwing 160+ pitches in the late 80's/early 90's as well.

In my first attempt since posting this, I was able to hit 2 HR's in the first 2 AB's of the moment. Finally done.

This is simply not true….I’ve done this many times over and not ONE of my batters has made it to P5 in 20-25 games.

This thread is about starting pitching, not batters. I don't think anyone is claiming you can P0 to P5 a batter in 20-25 games.

While you're guaranteed a Chase pack when you purchase a 50ct bundle; sometimes you can get a Chase pack to populate from a regular pack.

It's rare. But has happened to me twice.

True, you can pull a chase pack out of a regular pack, but it has nothing to do with the number of packs you have. If you accumulate 50 packs you don't get a Chase Pack topper, that isn't how it works.

I know this would be a really big long shot, but a 30/30 (3 times) Howard Johnson would be awesome.

Unless deGrom get an RBI hit, he can't win a game. He can keep his team in the game, but the offense has to score at least 1 run to win the game. That is the only point these guys are trying to make. deGrom is the perfect example. The guy won 2 Cy Youngs and deserved both of them but only had 10 and 11 wins those 2 seasons. Should he not have won those 2 Cy Youngs because he has some of the worst run support in MLB history? No, because run support has nothing to do with pitching.

Hoping they do 42 packs. Getting Chipper wiped out my stubs, now that I have built some back up, and want to do Jackie, those cards all doubled in price from 15k to 30k.

I am sure I will end up with him before I stop playing the game, but right now I have no interest in this card. There are plenty of other RF's, I play Soriano at 2nd and am working toward Jackie. So, this card would be a bench at best.

I played DD since may bought madden 22 and played it for a month. Played the show today for the first time in a month and WOW! It is insane how much better the show is in ever aspect compared to madden. This is the first year I didn't buy Madden since the early 90s. Last year's was so bad that I said never again. MUT is just so greedy and it's hard to deal with them essentially giving nothing to grinders other than solo battles which didn't even work for weeks at last year's launch.

Same here. I have owned every single Madden ever released, except this year. M21 was just by breaking point.
