I would just like to be abke to play 9 innings, with my squad at the level I want. Heck, I would love a 9 inning mode with a cap on the overalls. And yeah, 40 wins is a lot. I've flirted with ws but it's a sweatfest... Not fun.

Maybe having a draft like in br but with the cards you own? You have a choice of 4 of your randomly picked cards. The ones you don't pick are not available. You take that team into a season or something with interesting rewards?

I just picked lee. Not a lot of 95 rated rp available. My bp is pretty good but it's now a lot better. Plenty of 95's position players available...

i understand what your saying but what your saying has nothing to do with the irregularity of their hitting versus their defense.....how can people be so good hitting but cant play defense worth anything. my first day i was better on defense than some of these gods

You've played three games, do you really think that's a big enough sample size to come up with grand conspiracy theories about the state of the game?

In your first post you said "pitches that usually ALWAYS worked for you in all other games".

What other games are you talking about? You've admitted you are new to the game, and you've played 3 games. Are you comparing those pitches to games against the CPU? If so, that's a terrible idea, people and computers don't swing the same way.

In your other recent thread you are complaining about pitches in the dirt, and how hard it is for you to not swing at them.

My small piece of advice: Instead of coming here and trying to figure out what cheating software people are using, ask questions, work on YOU. There are a lot of great tips videos out there on youtube, and people here will generally be helpful as long as you approach the forums with the right attitude (name calling, something you've already done, won't get you far, unless your goal is to troll).

This is not 2K or Madden. Despite the complaints around here, this is a skill based game and it takes people a VERY long time to get good at the game. This game is also very much mental. You have to read your opponent and pitch based on how they are reacting to things you throw. Good luck man.

Jealous, loved that card last year. I ended up liking him more than the Finest version of Story.

I did the grind to 40 wins in RS, I don't think I can do the BR grind too.

Grinding as we speak, right in the middle of a slump. This will take forever but that Story card is fire....

I think that's entirely normal. Some swings won't work for you, irregardless of their cards. Try different guys, there's so many options!

You know the drill, pop a few advil(7-8?) and get back in there!

Mark Prior has been lights out for me. That slurve, curveball, fastball combination has been very good.

Got 50 wins in 73 games. Honestly, I had fun. Polo was a nice twist and I got to play with a lot of different players. Nice change of pace from rs will I wait for next season.

tried them but could not get to the corners, which is a problem with pinpoint. I also had a hard time fielding. Glad they're working for you.

Just like irl, you need to sit on a pitch, especially when facing those guys. Most players have patterns as well, identify them and make it count. If I could just lay off the curve/change up in the dirt...

I was there as well until I won 7 RS in a row yesterday. Honestly, I was trying to rush through games to get to 40 and it impacted my game. Once I settled down and paid more attention, I noticed patterns (again) and it helped me a lot. Instead of guessing every pitch, I was able to narrow down the possibilities. Same for pitching, I was falling into patterns to rush and was getting (rightfully) hammered. Good luck!

PSA, you will all get a W if we get into a freeze off, whatever the score. I understand where you're coming from but I'd rather play 5 games than look at my console frying. It's more fun and I don't have much time to waste. To each is own...

Saw that a few people are complaining that BR wins are not accounted for since the switch? Is it isolated or widespread?

I love the amount of content dropped but to be honest, I feel so overwhelmed. I'm able to play 2-3 hours/day and I prefer to play RS but I feel that if I do, my team will be obsolete in a couple of weeks. I had a great team a couple of weeks ago but will get killed with the same team in a couple of weeks. I get that the player skills makes a difference but my 87 hitter will be nerfed when he faces a 97 pitcher with stats jacked up.

I think my max RS will land between 650-750 (thanks pinpoint!), will I be able to complete at that level if I don't grind for all these jacked up cards?

i just finished up a 6-1 ticket, shouldn't be too long if you grind it and forget about the current event - best of luck on the field pal

Thanks, I was doing ok, winning 5-6 for a bit, even won 8 a few days ago. I played yesterday and could barely win one. Honestly, feels like real baseball. I'm cold now, can't see the spin, can't hit a spot to save my life. I've read a few things and I'm definitely not taking enough pitches. I'll start with that...Good luck!
