Jealous, loved that card last year. I ended up liking him more than the Finest version of Story.
I did the grind to 40 wins in RS, I don't think I can do the BR grind too.

they get 7 or 8 hits in the first 3 innings of game for ex. and go on to slaughter me like 15 to 5, get 10 hits or more by the 7th.
during the game your realizing how dam good they can hit your pitches that usually ALWAYS worked for you in all other games.
here is the weird part. during your 5 runs that you got, remembering they are using all the top players, chipper, ortiz, trout, 99 jackie etc, when you hit the ball, they had trouble fielding, throwing to wrong bases and was terribly behind on trying to throw you out on steals. not just in this game, you've seen this pattern in other games where you get drummed at the plate but they was horrific on defense(not pitching, just d when ball is put in play)) also about 1 time in every 4 or 5 games i see this.
tbh, this scenerio is what makes me believe something is fishy.....i know im not good yet but im getting there and im easily above average on pitching , my hitting sucks.
im in the 365 to 485 lvl. wth is some of these hitting gods doing on this lvl tbw?....head scratcher
I just made a secondary account to use cards that aren’t god squad material. I’m quickly climbing through low levels. I think I started 10-0 and not one game has gone more than 5 innings, via mercy or quick rage quit.
I can tell you there are plenty of good players out there who destroy all star pitching. And plenty of good players that mostly play BR and not too much ranked.
Also the lag on pitching and defense is why you’ll see catchers not even try to throw you out.
Nothing is fishy. The skill gap between good and average players is high.

Thanks, I was doing ok, winning 5-6 for a bit, even won 8 a few days ago. I played yesterday and could barely win one. Honestly, feels like real baseball. I'm cold now, can't see the spin, can't hit a spot to save my life. I've read a few things and I'm definitely not taking enough pitches. I'll start with that...Good luck!

What other games are you talking about? You've admitted you are new to the game, and you've played 3 games. Are you comparing those pitches to games against the CPU? If so, that's a terrible idea, people and computers don't swing the same way.
In your other recent thread you are complaining about pitches in the dirt, and how hard it is for you to not swing at them.
My small piece of advice: Instead of coming here and trying to figure out what cheating software people are using, ask questions, work on YOU. There are a lot of great tips videos out there on youtube, and people here will generally be helpful as long as you approach the forums with the right attitude (name calling, something you've already done, won't get you far, unless your goal is to troll).
This is not 2K or Madden. Despite the complaints around here, this is a skill based game and it takes people a VERY long time to get good at the game. This game is also very much mental. You have to read your opponent and pitch based on how they are reacting to things you throw. Good luck man.

Jealous, loved that card last year. I ended up liking him more than the Finest version of Story.
I did the grind to 40 wins in RS, I don't think I can do the BR grind too.
Grinding as we speak, right in the middle of a slump. This will take forever but that Story card is fire....

Thanks, I was doing ok, winning 5-6 for a bit, even won 8 a few days ago. I played yesterday and could barely win one. Honestly, feels like real baseball. I'm cold now, can't see the spin, can't hit a spot to save my life. I've read a few things and I'm definitely not taking enough pitches. I'll start with that...Good luck!
winning 8 you should be proud of yourself that is a great run - the most i ever hit was 11 W's with 1 L...... but its fun nevertheless to push it for the Story card - thank you as well and good luck back to ya

also i notice when games are going on, when im batting , the timing of game always seems normal meaning connection, ping etc. but when im pitching it seems sometimes that the pitching and wind up/stretch motions are going halfway into slow motion as is the ball in flight until even the batter swings slowly...what is this occurance?
i have optic fiber, hard lined with 1000 up/down. my connection isnot an issue
Doesn't matter what your connection is,if your opponent has the McWifi it's gonna be weird. I have the same connection you do and it happens to me to.

Some people are just getting into RS. I was a WS player and just recently started playing RS this year after getting the game late. I’m not a “god” by any means but I could see how people in Spring Training are like wtf? Lol

they get 7 or 8 hits in the first 3 innings of game for ex. and go on to slaughter me like 15 to 5, get 10 hits or more by the 7th.
during the game your realizing how dam good they can hit your pitches that usually ALWAYS worked for you in all other games.
here is the weird part. during your 5 runs that you got, remembering they are using all the top players, chipper, ortiz, trout, 99 jackie etc, when you hit the ball, they had trouble fielding, throwing to wrong bases and was terribly behind on trying to throw you out on steals. not just in this game, you've seen this pattern in other games where you get drummed at the plate but they was horrific on defense(not pitching, just d when ball is put in play)) also about 1 time in every 4 or 5 games i see this.
tbh, this scenerio is what makes me believe something is fishy.....i know im not good yet but im getting there and im easily above average on pitching , my hitting sucks.
im in the 365 to 485 lvl. wth is some of these hitting gods doing on this lvl tbw?....head scratcher
I just made a secondary account to use cards that aren’t god squad material. I’m quickly climbing through low levels. I think I started 10-0 and not one game has gone more than 5 innings, via mercy or quick rage quit.
I can tell you there are plenty of good players out there who destroy all star pitching. And plenty of good players that mostly play BR and not too much ranked.
Also the lag on pitching and defense is why you’ll see catchers not even try to throw you out.
Nothing is fishy. The skill gap between good and average players is high.

That's not weird, that has always been a thing. It happens because your opponent has to be able to see the pitch coming in smoothly. So the desync in the connection between you and your opponent will slow down on your end enough to make it look normal on their end. This happens a lot if you have a very good connection and your opponent does not. In short, good internet can make things seem like your opponent has the advantage in this game. Because the game can only move at the pace that the slowest connection can go to make things even.

They could be hitting pure analog which is just about timing and not swinging out of zone. If your timing is right it will make your PCI perfect on it's own. Just fling it baby

Bots or charity AI.
I've had games where I crushed every pitch (many w/o even trying) and chased off opponents. I suck, until the AI kicks in and gives me wings.

Last year I they gave up runs intentionally it meant they were trying to make the game go longer so they could boost their stats. Sometimes it was also an attempt to draw you in to boost stats together as that was the only way last year to prestige players.

I'm all over the place, I think I've tried everything. I'm horrible at hitting right now but at least my analog pitching is keeping me in games. My games are always pitching duels. I just started trying zone hitting with analog/stride. It might be the one!!
