I can safely say it’s not a ISP issue.

I borrowed a friend’s extra PS4 and brought it to my house. It is sitting right next to my PS4. They are connected the same way, same speeds etc. The borrowed PS4 I can play every mode just fine and on my system I still can’t play Ranked, BR or events.

I’m in the boat of people that is getting challenge failed every single time I try to play Ranked seasons, Events or Battle Royale. Play now online works just fine. I’ve been talking to SDS who insist it’s a issue with my internet connection.

So I take their advice with ports etc and nothing works. I’m lucky enough to have a friend who let me borrow their extra PS4. This PS4 is now at my house sitting right next to my personal one. They are connected to the same Tv, same exact WiFi, experiencing the same exact upload/download speed. This console is letting me play all Diamond dynasty modes with zero issue.

I inform SDS of this and they still refuse to believe this issue is something other then my connection. I’ve re installed the game multiple times on my PS4 to the hard drive and my external hard drive and still I will get challenge failed. Any other game I have works fine online. Something is not right

I’m located in Maryland

Are you on WiFi or Ethernet? and are you getting your Daily Login Rewards?

I’m usually on WiFi but I’ve tried it both ways.
Yes I always receive my login rewards. Literally everything works fine on my personal PS4 besides RS, Events and BR. I can go to the normal play now online with the MLB teams and play that with zero issue as well .

Neither does SDS I think. I’ve talked to about 20 others between here and reddit that are experiencing this. We all receive the same response that it’s our connection. We have nothing in common in terms of location, speeds etc.

In my emails back and forth with support they still say it’s my internet even with showing proof this other console lets me play online under the same circumstances.

Not want you probably want to hear; but you may need to buy another PS4

I really doubt it’s that. There’s a group of us across here and reddit all experiencing the same issue.

Something on SDS end has to be causing this. If it were my PlayStation I would be having problems with all all my games which I do not have.

I think a bam wouldn't even allow him to load the the game. If he's getting his Daily Login rewards; then it's not a ban.

Yeah it’s definitely not a ban, I’m logged into my account on the spare PS4, I’ve played multiple games no issue, I’ll get my dailes on both. If I go on my regular PS4, challenge failed every time is the only difference.

It transfers all of stats etc console to console so I know the console has to be synced it the server.

I’m still having this same exact issue. I can play Play now online but RS, BR and Events I will always get connection failed.

To prove it wasn’t my connection, I have borrowed my friend’s extra PS4 and have installed the game and on this console I can now play everything with no issues while logged into my account. If I switch my disk over to my console, once again I cannot play.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times to my internal and my extra external hard drive on my personal PS4 with no success of fixing the issue. This is ridiculous

Do you play other games online? Have you ever encountered a similar issue while trying to play other multiplayer games online? Perhaps it's your network configuration.

When you run a connection test on your system make sure it's type 2.

If not type 2, then youtube it. - many good videos. Port forwarding to your system could be the answer

Nope no issues on any other games.

After I posted this, I borrowed my friend’s PS4 and brought it to my house and installed my copy of the game onto it, connected it to my WiFi and logged into my account. I am able to fully play on that console, yet if I go to my system right next to it now and put the disk in there it still does not allow me to play RS etc on it.

I have even uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice on my personal system and to no avail. I really do not know what the issue could be.

I have contacted SDS and did all their trouble shooting attempts and still get challenge failed every time it matches me up with someone.

I have zero issues with any other part of Diamond Dynasty and I can also play Play Now online with no issues.

Does anyone know what this can be? I’ve tried uninstalling as well and that didn’t work

I’m having this same exact issue. I have tried 100+ times and can’t play Ranked seasons, events, or BR. I can play all other DD modes no problem and can play Play now online with no problem as well. This is ridiculous
