Always fun when someone jumps in and turns the thread toxic. Also love when my intelligence is questioned because of a silly baseball rant. Please quote me where I said he was their number 1 choice. Believe it or not, I am aware that baseball players are humans and can make similar decisions to us. My entire thread was just to point out that it’s a little silly he is still a Diamond.

For those of you that actually have intelligence, it's like going to the bar to pick up on Women or Men, you might try with 10 people before 1 actually shows you interest, so are you going to talk about the 10 that turned you down or the 1 that accepted you?

SDS is definitely not going to talk about being turned down because it does not help them at all, so they celebrate the one that does accept the cover.

It's simple logic and common sense.

Yeah because which ballplayer would want to grow their brand and name recognition by accepting the honor of being on the cover of the only video game available in your sport? Oh wait, literally everyone. Except for Barry Bonds but that was for other reasons.

Actually baseball players are pretty superstitious, lots of them turn it down, do you really think Jazz was their 1st pick?

No it doesn't but it does revolve to wealthy folks like me who pay for packs/cards to keep this game going. If it wasn't for folks who spend thousands of dollars for virtual goods you think DD would be a thing? Nope. Go play offline champ and let the big boys make a change.

I love Buck, but the thing that kept me from picking him is the fact he's listed under free agents, so he does not progress the team affinity at all. Otherwise he would have been first for me.

It's called an investment, you're not guaranteed to make stubs, while some people can accurately predict when a card will rise in value, most of you have zero idea of what you're doing.

So yes, the people who called you out for saying SDS forced you to sell are completely right.

People make mistakes, own up to them rather than blame everyone else.

SDS needs to fix it so you don't know if you're home or away before the game starts. They probably won't though.
