    99 Freddy Peralta reviews?

Yeah, Peralta was as mistake. Not a top pitcher. Pretty on paper, yet Vlad crushes everything. Everything Vlad hits, is hit hard. There are many different pitcher options, yet only one Vlad.

Yeah, customers shouldn't be SDS' QA team. I have found so many bugs (I stopped counting at over 20) and issues this year it is not funny. We should all be on SDS' payroll (and also get the game for free)...if we are just really QA folks. A class action lawsuit against SDS is warranted for this level of negligance.

You’re not getting a lawsuit over a glitchy game. You haven’t suffered any injury or loss, you’re just dissatisfied with the game.

Not true. I talked to a lawyer and mapped out the issues. There is also precedent in this area. There is definitely a case.

  • Logic bug in Game Update 11 causes freeze-off and/or an automatic loss
  • tvsectog_PSNT tvsectog_PSN

There is a logic bug which can cause freezes that was introduced the Game Update 11. I filed a bug and put more details in the bug, yet I don't have the bug number. The bug submission time was Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 4:31 PM though, which can be searched. I put it into to 'Crash' bug queue. Based on the release notes of Game Update 11, it can easily be seen how this bug was introduced, as it is related to one of the new fixes that went into Game Update 11. The bug can cause people to lose games unintentionally, so probably something that will want to be fixed sooner than later (I just happened to stumble across the bug by accident.)

  • LG OLED for gaming?
  • tvsectog_PSNT tvsectog_PSN

The LG CX is as faster than a gaming monitor in response time (.3ms), and close to a monitor in input lag (6.9ms) once The Show goes to 120fps (hopefully in '22). Input lag for the CX is 10.9 in MLB TS '21 due to TS only running at 60fps. The CX lets you actually see pitches better, and the bigger the CX the better as it gives curveballs more vertical movement and sliders/cutters more horizontal movement. I made CS multiple times last year in The Show (just shy of WS), and made WS twice so far this year using my CX (instead of a monitor).

I was so hoping SDS would implement the Microsoft 120fps @ 4k patch in '21, yet no dice. I so wanted to run the CX at 4k@120 with the .3ms response time and 6.7ms input lag. Especially..... since I know it is possible in the game to run at 120hz....it is just being prevented, currently.

It has been stated here by the powers that be that this game is running at 4K/60fps and they aren’t doing 120fps.

Yes, I know that...for this year. However, '22 and beyond ....as more games move to 120...they will have a hard time not putting it in those year's releases....especially when Microsoft has done some of the work for them.

Even if it arrives only in '22.... the HDMI 2.1 spec that the console use to get 4k@120 will limit gaming monitors effectiveness moving forward because then it just is processor speed to further reduce input lag and response time. 240hz and 360hz gaming monitors only achieve 1ms and 4ms response times at 240hz and 360hz, not 120hz ..., currently. As the 120 is the gating restriction moving forward, gaming monitors won't be able to signficantly drop the input lag or response time much more than they already have for these new consoles. But...I know in '22 when The Show does support 120 (as other games will as well later this year) ..... that my input lag on my CX drops to 6.9ms, so I am in better shape than gaming monitors.

Seriously stop. I already showed you that the Samsung Q80T from 2 years ago has better input lag then your CX.

The fact you're now arguing in a year or so is idiotic. I guess you think monitors won't upgrade in that time frame?

We get it, you paid out the [censored] for the CX and you're wanting to convince yourself but the fact is....Samsung Q80T from 2 years ago has better input stats.

Stop claiming that the CX is better then any monitor. It isn't even better then a 2 year old Samsung Qled

    27'' UltraGear UHD Nano IPS 1ms 144Hz HDR600 Monitor with G-SYNC® Compatibility

Monitor with 2.1hdmi that just like the Samsung Q80T has better input then your CX.

Unfortunately, I don't think you understand the concept in computing that the device can only goes as fast as the slowest component. Gaming monitors won't get noticeably better within a year as they are processor bound. Without better multi-threading and without being able to leverage their higher refresh rates....gaming monitors for console use aren't going to get much better the next few years. TV's will close the gap, and already have.

@tvsectog_psn said in TV In Game Mode With 6.5MS Resonse Time Any Good Verus Monitor?:

Your TV should be fine, yet you will want to know both your response time and input lag numbers to make sure. I have an LG CX that has a .3ms response time and input lag at 6.9 ,which is comparable to any console gaming monitor. I also get 4k, HDR and 65-inch of real-estate which makes it really easy to pickup the ball. The CX also supports 120hz and HDMI 2.1 so it is future proof as well.

CX is best out there, period. Very nice.
My bro uses the 49" as his PC monitor lol. Hurts the neck I'm sure. But amazing

Yeah, I love my CX. I got a 65-inch ..... as the extra real-estate makes reading curveballs super easy (they go way high on the TV) and also inside and outside pitches easy to read as well due to the extra real-estate. ;). I've hit insane with it in '21 this year and made WS... so I'm happy.

LG CX .... beats any monitor, any day of the week, and twice on Sundays. Also gives you the game at 4k. I am hitting insane this year with my CX (I got it just before '21 dropped) and also made WS. I can see and read pitches like you wouldn't believe. .3ms response time, and as low as 5.9ms input lag (1080p), 6.9ms at 4k@120 or 13.9 at 4k@60. I got the 65-inch and it allows for being able to see both incredible vertical and lateral movement of pitches...which makes it very easy to figure out the pitch. My batting average is up over 50 points from last year in RS. I am hitting over .400 with multiple players. It is not only the CX (I had a bad eye issue last year that impacted my vision and I finally figured out hitting overall), yet the CX does help.

Come on now, it is a nice T.V. but you went way too far and talking out of your [censored] saying it beats any monitor.

I'm strictly a console gamer using a T.V and have for over 30 years and that made me laugh.

Consoles are limited to 120hz....so the 240hz and 360hz montors for PC gamers ....aren't going to do much/add for a console game. Also, the 240 and 360hz monitors only achieve their fastest specs at the highest refresh rate. If the gaming monitors can't operate at 240hz or 360hz their response time and input lags go up.

However, I'll clarify/correct my response. For gaming on an Xbox Series X or PS5....the CX is better than a gaming monitor because you can .....

    1. Actually see the game being played

    2. You get 4k and also HDR (not currently available on most gaming monitors)

    3. You get a TV that can also be used for other purposes, other than just for gaming

So, overall ...for console gaming...a CX is better than a gaming monitor, especially for us older players who have families and actually want to be able to see the game. When the Xbox Series XI comes out and it supports HDMI 3.1 or 4.1 .... and does 8k @ 120, 8k @240 or 8k@360 ...then a gaming monitor might give one an advantage....but by then I'll just upgrade my CX.

@dethbaphomet_psn said in Patch 1.09 ...how long until it is released? Also, possible patch schedule so everyone doesn't get burned out:

Well considering we had a Patch last Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I think they release when they feel necessary. It isn't predictable or something they can schedule. Sometimes Hotfixes are needed.

Last week was an exception. Seems like SDS usually releases game patch upgrades on Fridays. They do this so people can play over the weekend w/ the latest code, yet it is also dangerous if something goes wrong ....like the quick sell bug that got introduced in one of the Friday releases.

Also, server downtimes are not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about game, client-side patches. They did the 1.08 patch last (Tuesday??) I think to fix a 1.07 bug from the Friday before.....yet I think the Wednesday and Thursday patches were just server downtimes, not client-side game patches if I remember correctly?

  • Patch 1.09 ...how long until it is released? Also, possible patch schedule so everyone doesn't get burned out
  • tvsectog_PSNT tvsectog_PSN

Anyone know when patch 1.09 will come out? Will it be this week or the following week? I am hoping it is this week, and please fix the duplicate collection issue (especially the duplicate Jackie collection issue).

Also, seems like the game patches always come out on Friday. A suggestion.... industry practice is to release patches on a day during the week other than Friday, Saturday or Sunday, as patches or downtimes on Fridays burnout support teams if any issues arise. In addition, if the patch causes other issues (like the sell now bug), it makes both the software engineer and support team's life non-existent on the weekend. (You guys do deserve a few days off....hopefully you can start rolling some of your team to get a day off here or there soon so they all don't burn out). To make life better for the support team and also engineers...I recommend releasing patches on Monday mornings...so that if anything goes wrong your team can fix the issues during normal hours during the week. Additionally, a 'Monday' patch would allow you three more windows during the week for hotfix patches if needed (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday). Just an idea.....and that being said (as a product consumer)....if you can release the Jackie duplicate fix immediately that would be greatly, greatly appreciated! (I'm cool if you patch the game overall or fix the issue for my account....I just want the issue fixed.)

The Kyle Seager card won't even sniff my lineup. TBH...that card doesn't even get me excited to play ranked this season. Will I play ranked anyway? Probably....yet not for Seager card ....and definitely glad the "Sell" button bug is fixed... so I can sell Seager. I'd hate to be stuck with that card.
