Maybe not remove it but you shouldn’t be able to throw 99% of the fastballs over 100mph. Like 2 pitchers actually do that I think Jhoan Duran and Hunter green most of the other pitchers may hit 100+ like 3-4 times a game. Bobby Miller had only 8 pitches over 100mph in a game and it blew everyone’s mind. The 100 mph+ should only be on max effort perfect pitches and not all of the time even then.

Ok I know the meatriders here will say otherwise but this game is in a horrible state gameplay wise. I’m not going to get into why it’s been an unenjoyable grind and doesn’t feel great to play but we can all agree numbers don’t lie.

The last 2 versions of The Show were in the top 10 on Xbox live through August. As of today 23 is sitting at 35th. People are not enjoying this experience SDS has provided this year and tbh I don’t think they know how to fix the game.

Now just to put things into perspective Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Division 2, Tomb Raider, Black ops 1 thru 4, 4 Assassins Creed games, Gotham knights, etc are all doing better then this game on Xbox Live. Nobody is playing this mess.

I think that’s completely detached from reality I’ve finished all of the programs and have about 900,000 xp the only things I don’t have done are TA and have one more game until I unlock the pack from ranked. I play too much. I see where OP is coming from.

So I don’t usually play events but my god I remembered why I don’t play online. They really need to do something about the match making quality of games. It’s been years but you continue to match with people on the most laggy unstable connections ever. I honestly can’t recall any online game with so much stutter and delay. There’s absolutely ZERO excuses for not having dedicated servers at this point.

You mean the unbearable lag coupled with stuttering and freezing because some clown with 150ms ping and a household full of people are allowed to compete online in a “ranked” mode?

They don’t optimize the connection at all so every game feels awful to play. I honestly don’t know how people can play this game online tbh. It feels like playing a broken version of the game imo. Just stick to offline the game doesn’t play well enough online to be considered for any sort of competitive environment.

No but I don’t live in Louisiana or Mississippi either but it’s totally acceptable to rag on those states. California is literally 0.2 higher than Louisiana it’s a massive group of simpletons who don’t get the proper credit they deserve. Don’t let facts hurt your feelings read a book and change things.

I play from UK. I nearly always get matched up with east cost or Caribbean players. Occasionally a European!

I don’t think location is the issue. Maybe playing at peak time is the problem with the SDS servers. Aware it’s p2p but I have zero lag problems. None.

(Majority of my games are played between 5am-5pm ET)

Nobody here honestly believes that unless your internet is horrible at which point the lag wouldn’t be affecting you which is most likely the scenario

I'd say player pool is just completely depleted.

• Two way pitcher glitch not being fixed for two weeks now with no plans in sight/communication from development team on wtf is going on
• No reason to grind for 900+ rating when everyone can achieve WS rewards by just playing and losing
• Gameplay hasn't been tweaked/updated AT ALL since launch.

It's obvious people are giving up, hell even the Devs have clearly given up based on the way they are handling everything. Hopefully the MLB license renewal goes in favor of 2k next time around.

No competition is bad for sports games look at Madden. They’ve become totally complacent with this game. I mean no gameplay updates in 3 months is either negligent or lazy. The online rewards bad swings far more often than good swings than it should still. We aren’t getting any network or gameplay fixes just diamond duo packs.

No pitching meter thanks SDS my first game online and you made it a disaster. This game blows seriously [censored] this game. I’ve had enough of this game and it is [censored] I’ve heard so much great stuff about this series but all you’ve shown me so far is what a dumpster fire it really is to play. Broken fielding no online pitching meters after the 5th inning I was crushing some guy 5-0 and I get screwed because you can’t properly port this over rated piece of [censored] to Xbox correctly. You messed up now I have to deal with craps stats and a loss what bull [censored]. Fix your [censored] game. It was hard enough to get ahead on some PS scrub just throwing in the dirt all game Danish was up to 80 pitches in the 3rd for Christ sake the game should punish people for playing that way. Ya but there’s a report feature that clearly isn’t being utilized so what’s the point of having it? Regardless without dealing with the character of certain players why are weather effects available in online play?

It’s not even debatable the online play is mediocre at best the way the game handles so why allow another factor that will make the game play worse? That is on SDS not on me being a whiner.

I’m not gonna lie outside of content this is the worst version of the show I’ve played so overall I’m just not happy with the product.

The game is barely in the top 20 of games on Xbox which is a massive decline compared to the same time last year. Honestly think of my rant as you will but this game will be a ghost town by the All Star break and everyone here will be complaining they can’t find matches.

The online experience is pretty bad you can enjoy it but you really shouldn’t be defending such a poor product.

Yes, but it says these tests are done on children in public schools. Florida has effectively banned education so this will look different in a few years.

In a couple years California will be dead last because while you haven’t banned education they’ve utterly failed at it and now have a massive uneducated population making uneducated bad decisions which will lead to more brain dead people making decisions. The general population of Californians would be unemployable in most states. It’s sad to say they went from the most educated state in the mid 80s to almost dead last now. Their policies are better off left not being repeated by other states.
