James Pazos is the best I've gotten from a TA pack.

I’ve used directional since it’s inception and it’s great offline for simple ratings based results. Online it’s not. Last year was the first year I really started playing online. With good timing in last years you could be somewhat successful but you basically singled your way to wins. This year you need perfect perfect on a swing for it to be more than a bloop or out. But also be prepared for groundouts on letters high sliders or whiffs on pitches down the middle with good timing. It’s a complete roll of the dice unless you get perfect-perfect.

I had it happen to three batters in a row in Conquest. Catcher just didn’t put up a glove for a pop up. Second baseman didn’t bend for a slow roller and left fielder just wouldn’t go inside the catch indicator. The only way to guarantee an out is by strikeout.

I pulled Gary Sanchez from a pre-order pack. That was my best card to pull.

I have the stream going in the background of my work computer. I have noticed a couple of notifications for twitch drop packs so far during the stream.

I'll have one choice from pre-ordering the MVP edition. I am torn between Sheffield, Smoltz, and Mantle. I loved Sheff when I was younger, always emulated his bat wiggle when I had a 3-0 count at the plate. Smoltz might be my favorite Non-Astros pitcher of all time. Then there is Mantle, between him and Craig Biggio the reason why I donned number 7 in my playing career. It will be a very hard choice to make.

Why not use Tebow to introduce full minors in the conquest? He is the most widely known minor league ballplayer in the world. He might not even break into the big leagues or even put up good numbers in the minors but as a company using your most well-known commodity to promote something isn't a bad strategy.

I'll be interested to see who the FoF cards are for some teams with multiple superstar players.

Even though it is frustrating at times, I don't have any qualms about not being able to hit my spot, even on perfect pitches. Should a perfect pitch be very close to where I set the location? Absolutely. Should a perfect pitch move towards the center of the plate or hang? Absolutely not. But the control portion of the pitcher's stats should really coincide with user input. If I have bad timing with a wild pitcher that is understandable. If I have perfect timing with Maddux, it should be pretty much on spot.
