Yeah that game was the absolute worst. Only good thing that came out of it was it was a nationally televised game and it got the recognition it deserved. Hopefully umps saw that and try to be better to avoid that type of backlash and media attention.

I just had a game at CBP with 9-10 mph blowing in from center. I absolutely crushed 2 perfect perfect balls (one with Harper at 106 mph to right center that didn’t make warning track and one with Realmuto at 104 to straight away center that just barely got to the front of the warning track).

These were “regular” swings mind you (not contact and not power), so maybe that has something to do with it?

Later in the game I hit a homer with Schwarber to right that went 5-10 rows deep (didn’t register because the player rage quit right as the ball hit the seats) so how does that logistically work? Lol

If you are playing vs CPU then yes it is a thing. Really easy to counter though. In your case where it is blowing from Center then focus on late or early swing and you will see baseline drives or as you ponted out a bomb to one of corners. This game with CPU playing more realistically creates a more strategic approach.

Of course this all varies based off of if you have set to Competitive, Simulator or third option forgot what it's called (arcade maybe?)

Actually you did it was my fault for not putting 2 n 2 together when you said other player rage quit. I was just in a hurry to help and provide some insight. I don't play online rated but if there is wind it will be same concept basically.

Just got through a game and won in the 12th so maybe it worked itself out.

I did lose my Games Played (only saw my last game played despite playing 30+) during the connection issues so maybe just a server hiccup.

I really don’t play much outside of online rated except occasionally some moments to get the Phillies icon and banner for my profile. With that said…I DO enjoy pimping out my player for RTTS after I get bored of Online Rated and obviously I try to get good gear (more so to match the gear I have in real life as opposed to the attributes of them) so I’m curious what are some good ways to build my stubb count after buying a high priced item?

I already sold most of my DD cards I got from random packs but now I’m dry.

Go to the market. Put in a buy order for a card. Wait for it to go through. Put in a sell order for that same card while making sure you gain more than you spent after the 10% tax. Wait for it to go through. Rinse and repeat ∞ times. Profit.

This works? Like I could put in an order for Trout if I had the stubs and it works?

No, it’s not just you. I played a game yesterday and had a perfect perfect swing with Jose Abreu that was caught in center field in the middle of the warning track (not even at the wall). It left me thinking, what do I have to do?

It's such trash. They're not going to make changes THIS LATE, and honestly -- they have no clue what-the-hell to do. What they care about though is looking at the financial reports and seeing all of the in-game purchases. So they will keep their jobs because they make the board happy.

Poor game quality and a lack of innovations stem from Ultimate Team, DD and MyTeam. Simple as that. The card collecting game mode(s) brings in profits throughout the course of the game and the financial reports are a claim for success...meanwhile parts of the game are absolute dog-sh!t.

We can blame the developer and we did this to ourselves.

Play a lot of online rated and love it's 45 degrees in July .

not to mention your preferred gameplay style; difficulty, guess pitch, quick counts. I play HOF hitting and legend pitching with guess pitch and quick counts off thus rarely matching up with 2500+ that are using those same gameplay settings.
