Online Rated Won’t Load

Just got on for the first time today. The game updated and now anytime I get to the “Found Opponent” part of the setup before it gets to the lineup card it just shows the background splash screen on repeat. It either crashes with “Challenge Failed” or no lineup card pops up at all and it just sits there refreshing the background scene until either I close the game or my opponent does (which in turn it kicks me back to the start screen).

I haven’t had any major issues with connection on Online Rated since the drop so it obviously has to be this past update right?
