It really is crazy how their ranking system is. You can lose 3 games and drop 100 spots but it takes 20+ to get them back.

Update: after 3 straight losses to the Yankees, Yankees and Mets i dropped all the way from 83 to 130 lmao oh and my perfect perfects I was like 5-11 and not one HR make it make sense…my one Yankee opponent btw had 10 in one game.

I am once again asking you to add Veterans Stadium for the Phillies into the game as a playable “Classic” stadium.

Yes it was dump, yes the turf sucked, yes it wasn’t aesthetically pleasing to the eye, yes it had a jail in the basement and yes I know no one cares.

But as a Phillies fan I grew up going there to Eagles and Phillies games and I wanna be able to play in it gosh darn it!

After dropping rank from top 75 all the way to the 200’s because of 4-5 losses in a 2 day span I switched to Rookie/Rookie and went on a couple long streaks. At this point I’ll go back up in skill levels when they make it fair across the board. Tired of chasing the top guys playing 50 games a day on Rookie Rookie when I can only play 5-10 at max while using Vet or All Star and not being rewarded.

Currently sitting at #83 with a 1922 rating and a 186-35 record (all using Phillies).

I can’t wait until this mode gets revamped…

Yea this mode has needed an overhaul for years only a few more days until smb4 and perhaps the best h2h mode out there in pennant race.

I could never stoop to the level that some of these dudes all for a fake leaderboard lol rookie/rookie with top teams nonetheless.

Yeah I feel you haha I tried to hold out but it was taking forever to find matches and I just stopped caring. At this point I’m just playing until Madden drops in a few months. Once that comes out I usually switch to mostly Madden anyway.

Maybe one day they’ll care about more than DD but I doubt it’ll be anytime soon lol

Side Note: I played a top 5 guy the other day (name starts with a P) and only lost by 1 in a 10-9 game. He wasn’t impressive at all. He had the nerve to tell me in PS chat I was lucky to score any runs at all lol despite putting up 8 in the first 3 innings. I went cold after that until the 9th unfortunately. Could have easily beat him if I didn’t let his garbage pitching and stall tactics get to me.

While I agree that it makes little sense I see it as an opportunity for those who don't need the win and don't want to wait out the pause timer. Although the number of people who fit that criteria is going to be really low and the number of people abusing it is probably much, much higher.

Anybody who uses this tactic is a loser and anybody who loses the because they did not read the message and act accordingly kind of only have themselves to blame.

I get what you’re saying BUT let’s be honest, like you said the number of people who would take a LOSS rather than wait out a 3 minute timer is almost non-existent so why even make that an option?

The player I encountered tried multiple times during my pitching sequences I guess in hopes I’d hit O got my pitch during his DC.

The people who hit it too fast, are either clearly looking for a free win or not reading the comments first. Either way it shouldn’t be the option. You should be able to A - wait out the timer or B - take a friendly quit where no player gets a win or loss.

My guess is SD needs to implement a rule on how many times it can happen before the player gets booted OR just let the timer do the work and not give an “out” for either player. It would take way more than 3 mins to play the game anyway so players can either wait or close the app if they really can’t wait.

Console vs Pc wars are for nerds but you can’t refute that it’s way easier to cheat on a PC than it is console lol

I’ve lost 4 games today alone after only having 20-ish losses all year since release. I’ve lost 6 games in the last 2 days with 4 today alone. I’ve went from top 100 today to 219 with a 145-29 record. That is insane.

Gotta live everyone jock riding the Padres too with that steroid abuser Tatis who somehow hits nukes on literally any pitch within the zone.

Might be my last year buying unless they revamp online rated.

All of a sudden I can’t win more than 2 games in a row, this is legitimately hilarious. I was in the top 100 and inside the top 50 since release but this past update now all of a sudden I’ve become extremely beatable? Something isn’t adding up.

I’ve played over 150+ games in Online Rated and have yet to encounter a freeze off. I thought they fixed it? Lol

I went from the mid 60’s to 134 because all of a sudden I can’t beat a single person lol the scripting in this game to keep it competitive is so lame.

I love that it takes 20+ wins to jump 15 spots in the rankings but 3-5 losses drops you 50 spots on the leaderboard.
