Marketplace is ruined on top of all the other issues this game has. Pay a couple people to work overtime and ban anyone using a bot. Something needs to be done now, you can’t even buy or sell a card without dealing with bots for a half hour and all margins destroyed. Lots of posts here about it, and on the mlbtheshow Reddit sub. It’s totally overtaken

They need to theme team mode , ranked style where you can only use theme teams. And yes the captain needs a total overhaul. On the bench would be a good enough quick fix to implement immediately. But as others said they need to totally overhaul TA and captains so it’s a viable mode. Could be really fun and make alot of lineup diversity but sds seems to not care about customer satisfaction or addressing clear issue with this game.

Yeah it’s totally fukT at this point. It’s like every card I try to buy or sell. They have to do something, to many things wrong w this game at once. They will tank as a company or loose their license

Not quite, has to be full innings so in my last game I brought in relivers that didn’t pitch full innings 8-9. So I only got credit for 7 innings. That’s the only *

@Onix_Savage22_PSN a sinker is not an offspeed pitch, it’s a 2 seam fastball. Opposite of offspeed

Just hopped on to climb leaderboard. First game discomment first inning got the win, second game disconnect 2nd inning got the loss. Anyone else?

5-1 gold 2 , would have been 6-0 but ran into what I suspect is a script user pitching impossibly well with Eduardo Rodriguez. There is a post about that someone else made if you want to read it. Other than that game I had a blast, great games with back and forth and everyone I played was right at my skill level. Every game I had a chance to win and so did my opponent

So the bots on marketplace are rampant. It’s almost ever card now. Right now with Ryan walker for example the top buy it now has 5 quantity. If you outbid it by any number it automatically, within a second outbids you by 1 then moves the 5 quantity up to that spot. You can keep trying to outbid it but it does the same exact thing. Say it’s order was 17,500 for x5 if I bid 17,501 it comes in in less than a second with 17,502 with 1 then moves all 5 at 17,500 to 15,502. It’s not a person. It will do it everytime you outbid, robotically. Are they ever going to do anything about this?

@LHUBison58_XBL I consistently get perfect feedback pitching myself, but there is still some variation in pitch location with the par. I can’t put it a full ball in or out consistently with every pitch in the arsenal for an entire inning let alone 9 innings with any pitcher currently in the game. This [censored] was other worldly diabolical how super dotted every pitch was. There has to be some kind of exploit w Ed rod since we both had the same exact experience against different users. It’s like the could place the ball exactly where they wanted it with 100% accuracy and stamina didn’t effect the ability at all
Oddly enough we were both 4-0 too.

It was every single pitch in the arsenal too, changeup, cutter , sinker, everything thrown was barely touching zone perfect dots on the outside of zone barely touching. He pitched into the 9th with him past where you could even see red, throwing perfect dots the entire time. How do people do this it makes no sense. Zero mistakes or even hittable pitches.

Ok now that’s weird

I just faced a guy who pitched Eduardo Rodriguez into the red and only hit the outside of line on zone the entire game, all quadrants. It was literally impossible to hit and seemingly impossible to do. I faced that pitcher 3 of my first 5 games and put 5 up in the first inning the game before when I faced him. This guy I couldn’t touch. Felt like he had to be using a script, if not holy [censored] I have no idea how he pulled it off. If not for that game I would have been 6-0 in gold 2

Posada is going to be the best catcher in the game for a min, longer than victor from last WC and he held close to 100k the whole month. And posada is a lot better and a classic Yankee. I expect him to stay above 100k the entire month after weekend classic. The fact is, far less people will earn him than want him. Anyone who sold him during the Classic is taking a loss for sure as opposed to waiting a couple weeks.

Bots are def insane, they will up outbid you by one instantly with two orders for the same price. Like a nano second. Then keep bidding you down. They are clearly controlling the market to buy low and sell high. I been using the market since 2018, so I know how it works. I know humans outbid also etc and actually argued against it being bots earlier in the year, so I was very skeptical at first that it was bots.

There is now no doubt that there are a lot of bots buying and selling for people controlling the margins. Churning out little bits of profit in an endless algorithm. Game is so cooked. Last year for me with all the bugs and bs

I did way too much playing to get that 10k pxp cityscape pack and it never gave me the reward. I played a few games after I hit 10x and it reset but when I left the game, the pack was not in my inventory. Anyone else having this issue?

I submitted a ticket and hope I get my pack, only reason I’m playing with all cityscape players and it took way too long

Be nice if they saved that program for when the new inning dropped as we gonna need all the xp we can get based on the insane 500k xp for 2
