Home field advantage doesn’t mean much in this game, but backing out of games with lag is why I end up home team a lot. Less latency with home games, if it takes a second or more to toggle between pitchers on the lineup screen, you can be sure I’m out.

Home hunting is not a reportable offense or “wrong” by any means. I think you just need to enjoy the game and stop looking for things to batch about

I don’t need it to be unobtainable, I just like a challenge. And I think most everyone could do it if they actually tried, it’s not that hard. Unobtainable seems like a gross emotional overstatement. I’m fine with them doing both and making it challenging and allowing him to be sold also. Maybe make a foil variant for the people who beat it and kept him and a regular one if you trade him in and sell him. That seems like a reasonable middle ground. But as I said , the showdown would have likely happened already so I would think he’s going to be harder to obtain for everyone now, at least stub value wise.

Dosent seem like Chapman is getting a showdown, so you all will be happy he’s buyable when he gets the Bryce Harper treatment and is the next milestone Chase card 🫡

I mean dude hof is not that hard, I think most people could do it if they put a little effort in. Problem is most people just want the shiny new thing, and having one challenge all year to obtain one card would not be bad. As I said, he has a 98 that’s amazing, you still have that! All-star showdowns are not even challenging for a lot of people

With Chapman hitting the 400 save milestone, I’m sure he gets a card today or tomorrow. I’m thinking a showdown on HOF like Degrom would be the way to go, but no sellable exchange. This would be perfect as he already has an elite 98 card anyone can buy, if you want the new 99 you have to earn it and beat the HOF showdown.

I’m fine w grindable “no sell”, as long as that means I can get the card and “no buy”

I think moonshot 2.0 was right around this time, the first one was earlier in the season. It’s one of the best events they do, hoping they didn’t just skip it this year entirely. The common pitchers like kershaw and Chapman were nice touches to a fun concept. And that Tim Raines card was on my team til the very end.

It’s kinda odd how they “segregate” the negro leaguers form the rest of the game. Why couldn’t a biz Mackey or cool papa bell or any of the other great players be sprinkled in here and there in programs and as ranked reward or inning path , multiplayer etc. you have to exit diamond dynasty to play a totally seperate storyline mode to even k ow those cards exist or interact with them. The storylines was cool to start but ran stale, boring slog of missions. And not one has cracked a red diamond and we already blew past when a lot of them would have made teams into 99 power creep. It’s really horribly mismanaged with a sds team that’s all white face they show the public. It’s just another example of a horribly mismanaged once great game, still lots of potential for the ball the be picked up

I’m at like 170k, but I’ve been grinding the pipeline mini seasons with an all pipeline team playing 9 inning games on all star putting up 25-50 runs a game and I’m still that far away. Insane amount of pxp but I’m glad they do this. I wanted him to be my new 3b man and shift made to short, but then terry P dropped. Still want Leo as he has more pop and at the very least would be an upgrade for my bench

Is the pipeline the last series that will update to the deluxe, premiere, and ultra packs? I believe last year it ended with the series after all-star, which was pipeline this year. I was thinking if we get other series like signature, they would be separate packs like midsummer classic or HRD. Any thoughts from fellow community members, as I don’t wanna hold them for nothing. Thanks
