Are the rewards from storyline not usable in any collections? They feel pretty underwhelming if they are just started cards.

Yeah unfortunately this has only gotten worse. I continue to give up 5-8 solo homers a game on counts I'm ahead in. I attempt to throw a ball in the dirt, have perfect pitch release and the ball goes right down the middle. It's so frustrating since I literally can't execute any better on my controller.

Anyone have issues with this? I can't get past the initial load screen where it's telling me press any button to enter. I've restarted 2x, disconnected my controller, etc. and nothing is working.

Pulled him twice this year already. I've put some money in to the game for packs but not a ton. Sold the first. Just got the second yesterday. Only Ohtani and Vlad left for full collection.

See my other post for more info. You also have different movements depending on which square you place the pitch in. Elevation of stadium matters as well. To find info on stadium in game Pause/Stats/Game log, this will give you alot of info.

Normally I'm pretty bad at the game online but this year I switched to playing on a monitor and I've been doing a lot better hitting than I normally do and it's super frustrating my pitching has been terrible. In games I'm scoring 3-4-5 runs I'm giving up 4-6 solo homers on counts I'm ahead in lol

I pitch meter and it will leak to the middle like that even on perfect pitch releases....no matter of the control on the pitch. I don't mind pitches missing, even missing on to the plate more, its just the hangers that are forced that make me made, and yes most occur on off speed under the zone, but sometimes a sinker or fastball inside will be forced down the middle. This is basically the issue. I should have been clearer in my original post. I use meter as well. Man I try so hard to get a curve to bounce in the dirt without like just throwing the ball 6 feet off the plate but a perfect release for w.e reason consistently (meaning like a good 30% of the time it feels like) just causes the ball to sail upward to the middle of the zone.

I keep trying to throw in the dirt and I have a perfect release and the ball somehow finds it's way literally right down the middle to the opposing guy 90% of the time for a homer.

Am I supposed to intentionally screw up the timing on the pitch? Like I'm at the point where I don't know what to do in 0-2 counts in close games. It's ridiculous

Pretty much this. I'm a Mets fan so I sold Acuna originally and completed the Mets collection for Gary Carter. - If I had known Trout was gonna be pulled a few hours later I'd have held onto Acuna for the NL side lol

Lmao sorry guys jees. I prob won't be able to play enough to fully complete everything so I figured have a few guys (who are really good obviously) or be able to actually complete some stuff and get some rewards and have a deeper team for when I'm able to play. I will try to get those guys back when their price inevitably drops over time.

Not sure if there was a thread already but figured I'd share some insane luck I had the last two days. From reward packs just from grinding I pulled Acuna, Trout, and Vlad Jr.

Sold all 3 to get started on the collections lol.

Yes it's digital PS5. I just wanted to confirm my progress is potentially tied to my PSN account and I can continue to play on the upgraded platform without losing everything.

I just purchased a PS5 and it will arrive some time next week. I have purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition of The Show 22. Will I be able to play this weekend with early access on PS4 and be able to convert my progress to the PS5 next week or will it be like I've completely started over?

Basically I don't want to use all of my stubs / open my packs etc. on the PS4 and then when I download the game on the PS5 all of that stuff be gone and lost.
