@That70s_Gamer_PSN amazing! Who all was updated? I didn’t see that. And did a new roster update release with it if you know? I’d like to use the most up to date SDS roster!
No new roster update. The players are Ben Brown, Edward Cabrera, Ian Happ, Porter Hodge, James Triantos & Justin Steele
THANK YOU @sds_joek_psn and SDS for listening to us!!! We are grateful! Can’t wait to start my Cubs franchise. Who’s with me?
Fixed times plus 6 new Cubs player updates!
@That70s_Gamer_PSN right there with you … he was in last year’s game wasn’t he? Also still waiting on cubs home game start times to be patched!!!
I believe he was. I am also waiting for the start times to be patched. If they don't address it in the next patch I may just start one anyway. The times are correct in the 2027 season.
I noticed the Cubs pitching coach Tommy Hottovy is missing. Not a deal breaker, but it's nice to have the real coaches.
I like Boog, Singleton is terrible.
Sometimes it freezes on me in Diamond Dynasty menus
Oh ok, thanks. I didn't realize it was an April fools thing
Just played Common Courtesy program. First one was Kerry Wood. In the description it says Kerry Wood doesn't have it today, give up a run without striking anyone out. Then below that where it tells you what you have to do it says:
1-Do not give up a run
2-Strike out batter.
First playthrough, I strike the first batter out and it fails. Second playthrough, batter grounds out to first and it's complete. Which directions do we follow?
Am I missing something? The description in all of them say one thing, but the list of tasks is the opposite? So dumb!
Cubs playing afternoon games is one reason why I could NEVER be a Cubs fan. Why would I root for a team whose games are always being played when I'm at work in the middle of the afternoon, and never get to see them play? Seems like a really dumb start time to me.
They play in the middle of a neighborhood. They are only allowed a certain amount of night games. A city ordinance allows 35 night games.
I also see that line.
Must be an Xbox thing, I have had zero crashes on PS5
First thing I do is turn all of them off.
Did you try the CPU manager hook slider? I have mine set at 6 and it seems to be working fine. There's those games where the cpu is pitching a shutout where they stay in a little longer to try to get the shutout, but I have seen them get pulled in the later innings before I score.
Yes I know for roster updates and for new scan faces you have to restart it.
If you just care about the player faces you do not have to restart. If you want the updated attributes you do.
@LookAt_MeNowww_PSN Not having to restart a franchise to get the new player models would be a game changer for me.
You don't have to. All you do is load the live roster and the player models get updated in franchise without restarting. The stats/attributes do not update, just cosmetics.
I simmed the 2026 season and the start times are correct in the 2027 season.
You sure you have to restart franchise when they patch it?
Yep. Looks like all the Cubs start times after the All Star break are at 4 instead of 1. I am also waiting for it to be addressed.
I got these trade slider settings from Mike Lowe who used to be on here, maybe he still is. He had great game sliders too.
Here are his settings for the trade sliders( 1-10 on the slider scale)
Spring training-1
April-1
May-3
June-4
July 1st-29th-5
July 30th & 31st-10
Offseason-4
I've been using these for the past few years and have had great results.
