Maybe it's if you just leave the entire spring training roster intact when you go to season. I like to set up my roster before spring training ends.

I just did it again. In spring training i took 3 guys off the 40 man. Kept 26 guys on the roster sending the rest to the minors. It stayed that way when the regular season began.

This is not true. I don't have my 40 man filled out and the CPU does not do it automatically. There is an option in settings for this. If you choose auto, then the CPU will fill it out.

As someone who helped work on Bacons fictional rosters which I think were the best, I 100% agree! It took us months to do the roster from the previous year. There was around 7 to 10 guys working on them too. They did have year to year saves, but then they had to go multi-platform and that ended it.

I have a launch PS5, played over 100 games in my franchise, every inning, every pitch and have had no lagging problems.

I have zero problems opening packs on PS5

Untouchables is dumb. They need to totally revamp the trading system. I don't mind waiting a day or 2 for an accepted or rejected answer , but we need better more specific responses from a team when they decline on what they want.

I loved Bacons! I even helped make them a few years ago. Once SDS killed the option of year to year franchise, I stopped using them. It took a few guys months to do them, it was a giant task.

I believe they do show up in an already started franchise. Early on, they updated Pete Crow Armstrong's hair(got rid of the blue stars) and it changed in my franchise. I think all the cosmetic stuff shows, just not the updated ratings.

I just had a challenge at first base. My first one in about 40 or so games. In user settings go the the general tab and there is an option for the umps to make mistakes or get the close calls right every time. Make sure it's set correctly.

Yikes! The trade logic in this game has always been off.

"Player X value/potential to contract ratio doesn't fit our team" or "Player X doesn't hit lefties and we're looking for a lefty masher" or "our team is looking for more power right now and this player doesn't fit that need despite being a good player". Could even be like, "both of these players are secondary players and we need a headliner to trade X".

I am with you on this. I love the waiting game to see if it will go through. I do wish the other team would respond with a counter offer or let you know where the trade stands.

I haven't really paid attention to the lineups, but the bullpen game feature is messed up. In my Cubs franchise, the Angels have been using the bullpen game since opening day. I am only 12 games in but their number 1 Kikuchi pitches, then they seem to skip the next 3 starters and use the bullpen game. When I played against them I noticed it. Their bullpen is wiped out, they are 0-12. I have been checking as my season goes along and it's the same thing.

No new roster update. The players are Ben Brown, Edward Cabrera, Ian Happ, Porter Hodge, James Triantos & Justin Steele

I believe he was. I am also waiting for the start times to be patched. If they don't address it in the next patch I may just start one anyway. The times are correct in the 2027 season.
