I think it is just laziness. Not many people seem that bothered about scans or complain so they don't see it as priority, but for me it is one of the most important things in a sports game. I can't use a player that looks nothing like they do in real life as it just breaks the immersion for me but i think I must be in a minority of people who is bothered

Just seen the players who have model updates in the latest patch and I am surprised there are still so many players not being scanned. Many players from last year like Drake Baldwin, Colt Keith and many others with awful generic faces. Also so many rookies still haven't been scanned. I know it's up to the players to be scanned but i refuse to believe all these rookies haven't gone to get their faces scanned. SDS priority should be to get all the rookies and top prospects face scans into the game right away
so I can start my franchise now instead of waiting months for new scans to come.

I never understood why games add face scans after a game has released when they already have them. I understand doing it with Rookies throughout the year but not players who have been playing multiple years

I bought the game yesterday. I should have waited to see if they dropped a load of face scans for opening day. Been very disappointed with how little face scans been added to this years game so far

Face scans in sports games is a big thing for me. MLB 25 was my first mlb game and It was nice seeing a lot of scans added in updates. I hope this year they add them in quick and get a lot on opening day.

Don't think Bader wants to be scanned. Been in the Mlb for years and still hasn't had one. I hate using him with that horrible generic face

Thanks for Reminding me. Escarra and Rice need face scans too. There's just too many that need scans right now.

@ThrowingKnifeAim_PSN Yes there are many I missed out but these were the ones that came to mind. Just hoping someone can see and pass it on to the team and hopefully can get some of them in the next update

It's good to see many player models getting updated often. I have made a list here of some that would like to see get updated and new scans. Hopefully someone can pass this onto the team and we get some in future updates.

Need a lot of prospects scanned and also many need updated scans face scans

They seem to update their game more than EA sports and 2K do but that's not saying much.

Hopefully they can keep the game up to date. Shouldn't be hard for them to do.

I agree with every word. Either the player don't want to be scanned or they are in no rush to put them in the game for whatever reason. Either way it would be nice if someone came out and said because it's frustrating waiting so long for these players to get their likeness in the game.

By complaining daily there is more chance someone on here could see it and pass it onto the devs. Nobody is making you read these posts so let us complain, it's an immersion breaker for some of us.

I have only been playing mlb since 24 so im new to the sport. do think they have done better with updating faces since last years game. Considering there are only 30 teams and many top prospects aren't scanned its still not good enough. Madden, Nba and Fifa can do it so I don't see why these guys can't get some regular starters and top prospects scanned or better caps at least

This is the second time he's made the list of updated models but he's face just goes from he's cap to the bloated face generic that he now has. Why is he's face scan not uploading at all?

Face scans are a big thing for some. Playing as someone who looks nothing like them is an immersion breaker. We have a right to complain about certain players not getting scanned or updated. Especially when some of those are top players and been in the mlb for years. We paid good money for the game and to have some of these things missing is frustrating for us. If people complaining about scans bothers you so much don't read them.

I got it wrong. Sorry for getting anyone's hopes up with my post. I thought it was going to bring new face scans but maybe they only do it in a patch now. I'm sure last year they just added new faces randomly without announcing them.
