I just constantly feel my time is being wasted when playing online
It starts with people who let the opening scene play...this should not even be a thing, just like being able to replay HRs.
But if you arent hitting you generally arent progressing with any reasonable pace, and I don't hit well. My eyes simply can not pick up the pitches well enough to have the precise timing needed, so I foul off pitches on the edge of 'good' timing all game long.
When are we getting new captains??
I dont blame you, especially with how the quality of contact with timing has declined
I dont typically use it in offline games because I dont really like HR derby, but directional is great for stuff like that
The online vs offline debate is so easy to solve:
Eliminate mode specific cards. Let us earn everything via either avenue.
They should make Jones the main reward. Beltran will be good because he is Beltran and he had his Show spitlight last year. I say this is a Mets fan who does not like Andruw Jones
All star MVP will almost always be a duplicate, complaining about that is just ridiculous.
The only way around it is to not release everything until after the game. Which I feel they could do as retro all stars (at least 1 per team..remember when that was a thing?) can work pre all star and there is draft as well
I think they need to find a middle ground between the 4+ TA drops per year and the 1 drop this year. Grinding out all 30 teams multiple times per year gets boring after a while. I think the sweet spot is probably 2, one at launch and one around the All-Star break. Could even add a 3rd drop near the end for Finest or whatever.
They've said that the move this year was in response to feedback that people want to just quickly get the TA cards and be able to use them how they want. I think the middle ground approach of 2-3 drops still makes that possible, while also giving people that want more something to work on.
21/23 model was divisional,not team by team. Its ok to have longer grinds for cards. In fact, its better game design. But the divisional model made it pretty easy to focus on your team pretty quickly and get the others passively.
I would assume 15k pxp will take longer for at least 80% of the player base. Not to mention it is even more incentive to play at Coors.
TA removal has zero to do with mid cycle players. Its realistically so SDS could put more cards in packs without creating more cards.
There is an element where they went overboard in 2024 with TA once every few weeks, but the 21/23 model was great.
Lack of TA is the main reason I checked out of the game early this year
I think this is more about how power is weighted this year in the attributes than a slight to Walker.
Zone hitting is cool because it feels right for a video game version of baseball
Pinpoint pitching feels absolutely terrible and detached from the game of baseball. It is meant to try to add skill to the detriment of the game (I dont use it because its so dumb).
Not sure what they could do to create artificial "skill" requirements to avoid this disconnect.
Definitely sounds like DDoS. Absolute trash people that deserve a kick in the balls every second for the rest of their lives.
I assume Ashcraft is going to need to be replaced. I was at PNC park last night and the game was canceled for some reason, pushing his start up.
Not sure how they pick the positional backups. Sal Stewart is I guess the backup 3B, leaving a primary 3B like Nick Gonzales off the team. Which player is having the better year is debatable, but you think primary position should matter.
The CBF comment is just absurd.
I know people love to say SDS doesn't listen, but they absolutely change content because of our feedback. This is why cards have been taken out of modes and why they have my legacy as a reason to use the cards for a long term grind.
While I hate the idea of a third weekend classic card (why is this the mode that kept its cards?), from what I have been reading this looks like a great drop and I would be playing if I wasn't traveling (I stopped bring my PS5 with me because of the state of 2026's game)

But the legends pool isn't big enough either - we get in this trap where its just the same guys over and over.
This will never change, because it makes no sense for SDS to add a way bigger legend pool. I'd love it, but it makes them no money for their expense. Nobody plays with the new legends - everyone's like "oh cool I remember that guy!" and then 20 seconds later, they're back to just using the same old cards as always. Poor Red Schoendienst just ain't gonna crack their lineup.
Reverse moonshot would help with those guys: you can only use guys with less than 80 power.
I didnt know they gave PCA an all star. Since they did that, then yes every player better get a card in the remaining programs. And I suspect they will except maybe Freeman
So if Buxton is a chase card, is the my legacy version sellable?
It may be a huge grind but if the prize is a chase card than its tough to be upset with it. And its a legit grind 99 for a change
Good players vs CPU on high difficulty in cheese ballpark can probably fly through pxp.
