The reason the White Sox only got one card is because they have less viable card options than the Yankees or Padres so they're being conservative for the next round of playoffs.

Card art is pretty solid too, I usually dislike the postseason card art

I do think this would all be better as one big program releasing tomorrow with the other cards.

I would rather they take their time rather than making 3 card programs with 5 moments and 2 1k pxp goals, which is what I expect

Looking at the losing teams, 2 of the three just stunk so its tough to justify many cards

Astros could get Pena, Velazquez and Abreu (gave up the HR but had 6 Ks) but I bet only get Pena
Red Sox really only have Contreras since Sogard has a 99
Cubs really only have Hoerner

Its part of a bigger pattern though. While there have been some really good free cards (Lindor, Jones) I feel the balance has shifted towards putting more and more big names into rarer cards like headliners or WC cards. I didn't feel the balance was this off last year.

I understand why they would do this, but it is anti-player.

And in general mode specific rewards is inherently anti-player as well, but having them available on the market does greatly reduce that impact.

Why do Weekend Classic at the end of the multiplayer path when people that play online have likely completed it?

They also release innings without any conquests, miniseasons, or even DQ. And with maybe an hour of program content.

I don't know why I hoped for something more creative. I love to set myself up for disappointment.

The art team does a great job, but these post season sets are never their finest moment. 2023 set looks good though (as does the chosen photo for Royce)

Its just frustrating how many of the actually cool legend cards are locked behind headliners, chase cards, collections, and weekend classic. I know all of this is because money and has been there in the past, but I feel that the balance is off this year compared to other years.
