The 2K parallel I would like to draw here is domination.
Almost every season launches with this, its a big grind with some optional challenges that provides good rewards and great xp towards the battle pass.

CarGo ticks the boxes if they do add him as a legend.

At the start of the game we got 3 mini seasons in the first 2 weeks. 4 good sized conquest maps. Starter DQ and one real DQ.

Over the last month however we have gotten 1 effectively starter DQ, 1 showdown, and 2 small conquest maps. And the latest conquest map had cards that should have been in the program in place of the rewards, with just scattered show and ballin packs throughout.

And the calendar looks barren for the next week.

If the best thing to do in late April is launch day content than there is a content issue

They made higher difficulties innately more rewarding this year with PxP. While I get that doesn't apply to showdown, the last thing this game needs is more forced difficulty offline.

One of the things that has really soured me with the live content team is highlighted above. 5 "possible" cards above should all be released. What is the harm of having the program be 5 cards instead of 3?

And Cobb's image of a dirty player is also exaggerated, and we have guys like Utley in game anyway

There is a great fielding defensive CF who bat lefty with great power that is I think the most overdue player in the game for a 99. Hint: his last card was a 2025 Egg Hunt and I dont believe he is on the removed legend list

However, there will very likely be a high profile Andruw Jones at HoF time so I dont feel a CF is likely

SDS really needs to bring out the Billy Ripken error card for April first. Obviously they would need the "corrected" version but still would be funny

This is the dark side of today's gamers. Trying to create a controversy in hopes of getting someone fired, usually a female. SDS should ensure lifetime bans for every person involved with this nonsense

We've known this is coming on the 24th from day 1

Decent amount of free cards, I don't hate the balance here between packs and cards. However it looks like the whole thing will take 2 hours tops (aside from event).

A conquest map for a repeatable deluxe pack (this early in the year random is fine) would have been a nice. Back to WBC though

Admittedly offline players have it better because they can at least buy the online cards, but yes.
I dont know which slogan is more ridiculous, play how you want or grind 99 (which theyve at least stopped using as much)

They probably cant code it but a theme team event would be so much better than just 'hey use a few cards from the latest series plus some live series'

Its kind of funny that online players will often say "you should do everything to get all the rewards!"
Yet offline players would rarely say "no, you must do the USA conquest and a 28 game, 9 inning miniseason to get all the rewards"

My personal take is there should be elite online cards for WS that can be earned offline two innings down the road. Making timed exclusivity encourages people to play different modes without requiring it

well for one, incentivizing everyone to use only god squads in high HR parks is not ideal. They have moved away from more specific goals, but things like earn pxp from players under a captain boost would be good. Or progress for wins, and half progress for a 9 inning loss (incentive to not get mercy'd). And HR and TB is somewhat redundant. Should be HR and hits. They added a bunch of singles hitter legends after all.

My personal thought, which obviously cant be done mid year, is online and offline should have separate xp with wheels. Then they could do creative things like rotating double online xp criteria. People can still use their god squads, but they will be rewarded better for theme teams (or using cards from a specific series, or division, etc). And there is always WC for god squads anyway.

Incoming program where the devs boast that it can be completed in 15 minutes for a 88 Gibson and 89 Jackie. Oh and 3 show packs.

I thought the cool papa bell was a very good launch card, but I don't disagree he should have been 89 with the others 87
