Unacceptable.

-Extreme lack of post launch content, and this "program" did little
-A pack for what was always free in the past
-No ways to earn said packs offline

I think SDS has too heavily favored online play this year and its starting to really impact my enjoyment.

Its the combination of less content in general along with most xp being in online programs.

TA part 2 drop had 80K xp added to online programs. There was a negligible amount of xp in the TA tracks, which I wouldn't even classify as offline anyway, and then 4k in the Season Awards. Since then I think weve gotten another 8.2k between Jackie and Season Awards. So 12.2k vs 80k.

Quite frankly the offline gameplay modes are stale right now, which doesnt help things either. Conquest is ok, and mini games are a good idea with a mediocre implementation that hasnt been iterated on at all.

SDS needs to balance better between offline exclusive modes and online exclusive modes, with programs being neutral as they are able to be done in both online and offline environments

Offline modes should offer the same xp, and the same amount of cards (ideally identical cards) as online play, even if its tweaked to be a bigger grind

Theyve locked rewards behind Event, Ranked, and BR for years. A lot of people hate those modes more than you hate conquest.

I respectfully disagree with the graphics people. I think once a game reaches a certain threshold, and The Show easily eclipses that threshold, graphics are probably the single least important thing to me. I dont want to see realistic sweat or some nonsense.

That development budget can be used in other places

One of my favorite programs this year was the Sosa program. It kept people checking in each day, and was rewarding. However, it had a major weakness of not giving cards throughout.

Spooky fixes this, and is just better designed overall.

I would suggest to SDS to make this a monthly thing. Sure, the non card rewards would be toned down a bit and that's fine, Sosa program did it right for a mid season program.

Why cant November have a new finest or retro finest every other day for example? Next March could be a way to get more WBC cards. April for more new threads, or easter. And so on.

Couldn't disagree more with conquest. Its absolutely great for getting pxp for these silver guys.

Diamond Quest right now has the big flaw of only the stadiums counting for program/pxp progress. I guess the zone sweeper too but Im not rocking up for a legend game with silvers. I will say the mini Showdown stages are a big improvement over showdown mode itself because at least I can use my own cards and if I fail I get a detriment but not have my progress erased because I hit into 3 double plays and had 2 HRs robbed.

Free entries, no downside to losing since you’re not pushing for flawless rewards, and it’s a good way to get practice playing H2H

I don't enjoy playing online, that's the issue.

The walking on egg shells you need to do while pitching just isnt fun for me. My poor pitch recognition and high latency put me at a severe disadvantage for hitting. The only online mode I don't dislike is ranked because the matchmaking is better and I can bring a Mets team into it.

I would say Event has by far the biggest downside to losing: you have completely wasted your time and have nothing to show for it. BR and Ranked you can at least make program progress without winning

I personally love it. It celebrates something that happened in baseball, isnt in a pack or part of a collection, and is SDS trying something different.

I would have at least thrown a Kerry Wood in there too, but the spotlight packs are very nice so its not just Sosa

This is not quite at the level DQ grind is for highly skilled players, but its the meaningful repeatable content we have lacked since MS repeatable rewards were nerfed and its fantastic.

I love being able to grind for packs vs grind for the stubs to buy the cards.

I don't expect this to happen with every current pack, but once packs are old enough why not do this sort of thing more? For example, April spotlight conquest with the teams of all the lightning players in it with a repeatable as your choice of weekly pack.

Maybe a NT/Pipeline/Egg Hunt mini season?

I expect i will put more time into the game this week than I have in a while, this has gotten me over my disappointment over lack of new TA content
