As I remember you had to be in the majors to add a pitch.One year you had to be a starter to add a pitch-did they patch that?Can't remember.This may or may not be true of 21.

One of my players is either 36 or 38.For the past couple of seasons my agent ask if this is my final year.So I think once you say you want to keep on playing you have to wait for next year.Also this 20-perhaps they forgot about it in 21.

I will be upfront-I have no idea how a video game is put together.But why would people have to be face to face in the same room to do whatever work is necessary?Or are you refering to some other obstacle?

In a video a couple years ago,they showed how they were incorporating statcast data into the game, the control panel he was using was over 10 ft long probably weighs several tons, even if you could move some of the equipment(most probably not) i seriously doubt residential wiring would be compatible.
Which would severely limit what they would be able to work on at home,and the quality of it,considering there highly specialized equipment is worlds above what consumer stuff could do.

Ironically I have a 2 way player in 20.SP and DH with a day off before he pitches.Every once in a whille he plays left field.Started Richard(Head) in 14.Was able to pretty much max him out before they started capping players.Of my four players he's the only 2 way-and the game made the change-not me.

From reading another thread it appears all the help is available on Twitch and you are a boomer loser if you don't know that.
Personally I think I'm sticking with 20.

I've been playing on All Star plus for years now.I 'm running 4 pitchers of various ages.This year I decided to see where dynamic difficulty lead.
I ended up going back and forth between legend and legend +.I thought it would be a lot harder than it is.Strikeouts are a lot harder to come by and the general ERAs are in the mid 3's instead of mid 2's.I also get shellacked more often.
It also seemed like I got smacked around more as soon as I went up a level then things would go back to normal.Like the game was testing my stick to it ness.
Last year 2 of my 4 pitchers won the Cy Young-definitely not happening this year.On the other hand all 4 teams made the playoffs.
BTW not some young gamer here with mad stick skills or anything.

I suppose the batter could still be angry at a previous at bat but that would be stretching things.

For number 8-probably not this year but AI keeps improving.Audiobooks are know being read by AI(have no idea what the quality is like).

With #8 would be weird to have an AI voice for a name in the commentary in a sentence spoken by Matty V. And legally they probably wouldn’t get away with generating an AI voice that sounds like Matt so it sounds good. So the only option there would be to AI the whole play by play commentary.

Would you be heartbroken if Matty V et al went away?Personally I'd rather see SDS put the money into software that can produce commentary that is non repetitive and appropriate.Of course you shouldn't be able to tell it's AI.

Thank you it is the most annoying thing ever. I'll win the mvp or throw a no hitter the previous game and they still give me the [censored] cy young. This has been a bug since mlb 17 I believe. This is not a bug that has been in one game. It just goes to show you that they don't really care about rtts anymore.

Double annoying this year as two of my four pitchers won the award.I think I've
solved the problem.I've been running at the upper edge of All Star + for years.Decided to go constant Dynamic Difficulty with all sliders on default this season.Been playing mostly on Legend with 3 forays into the upper edge of Legend +.The differences are interesting between levels.

I've got 4 pitchers imported from 19.I try to keep them all in about the same month.It's their first season in 20 and I'm now noticing no training in late June.They had been training(I believe) until then.
Injuries are turned on.

I had one of my players on 2nd base the other day.I lean the left stick left so I don't get picked off and kept an eye on the shortstop.He was in the picture faking like they were going to try to pick me off.Out of nowhere the 2nd basement comes in!Because I'd been prepared I barely made it back.First time I'd seen that.

@RNMorton re#7-you can move the pitcher meter around.Not feeling well enough to detail step by step but it's under custom cameras.

I turned the throwing meter off myself but if you post the elevant settings you have I"ll be glad to doublecheck next time I play.

Just found out this 2 way in RTTS is indeed a thing.I really had not heard about until today

I've got a knuckleballer(Richard Head) I starter in 14(actually 12) but I didn't buy 13.He'a 99 ovr god including batting thanks to all the free stubs they threw at us in I think 17.His second pitch is a triple digit fastball.Also VCH,splitter,slider.
He's 34 and somewhere in the middle of a long term contract with the Angles.I think it's over 30 million a year.The good part is the Angels win the division by double digits every year.The bad is he hardly ever gets to bat.
[censored] was actually on some bad Philly and Cubs teams early on but finally landed with the Padres who had some talent.I believe he won a WS with them.
Anyways you never know.I have A CP who the Phillies brought up .They proceeded to win the WS his rookie year and then repeated the next year!And the Phillies traded away Aaron Nola!
