As a long time RTTS player(started in 12-stopped in 20 due to no YTY saves) it's sad but not surprising that SDS continues to not care much about what was once an important part of the game.
The world has changed-everything is now about social game playing whether it's about playing against friends or strangers.Resources are always scare and are going to be allocated to the parts of the game that make the most money.
