    Leveling Up Takes Forever

Where did I ever say you couldn't comment on anything?
I ran across something interesting this morning. It was a review of MLB 25. In the review they took a poll of
what part of the game you spend the most time on. 800 people had replied when I was reading it .For sure unscientific-only SDS knows the exact numbers.
Anyways RTTS was at about 40%,Franchise was at about 40% and DD was about 9%. Yet which mode gets the most attention paid to it? The money making one. Can't really blame them.
To be clear I'm just trying to have a civil discussion here.I play RTTS the way you would like everyone to play.I took a character from 14 through 20 until he was 45.

    @PriorFir4383355_XBL I"ll play devil's advocate here.
Back when you could buy yourself a GOAT with actual money I was too cheap to spend money and enjoyed the grind.
On the other hand who was I to begrudge someone who wanted to buy their selves an instant superstar?
In no way did it affect my own game play so who cares?
If SDS made money from RTTS maybe they would pay more attention to it.

  • 3 Questions about 25 compared to 24
  • tanman05851_MLBTST tanman05851_MLBTS

In 24 you had to jam down on R3 to see a throw (for example) from 3rd to first.Other modes like March to October the camera auto followed the ball.
Is this still the case in 25?
Also you could not zoom in on an outfield fly.Still the case?
Also I watched every pitch in a 24 RTTS game and no mention of the umpire name and tendencies like other modes. Still true?
    PS5 BTW. Thanks
attached is a 24 video showing camera issue.
Anybody out there played a lot of RTTS over the last say 6 years?
Also I'm talking live action-not replay.

As a long time RTTS player(started in 12-stopped in 20 due to no YTY saves) it's sad but not surprising that SDS continues to not care much about what was once an important part of the game.
The world has changed-everything is now about social game playing whether it's about playing against friends or strangers.Resources are always scare and are going to be allocated to the parts of the game that make the most money.

Just like they killed y2y from 20 to 21 the same is true this year. I guess they don't miss the sales to those of us who bought the game every year only because there were y2y saves.
All the Xbox and switch sales more than make up the missing dollars I'm sure.
It won't be long until Y2Y saves are a distant memory.

Promotions are based on overall. The best way to get promoted is to be at a position with little depth and a low overall MLB Starter. In 21, if your overall was good enough, you'd get promoted to AAA at the AA break and to MLB on or a few days after August 1. If you don't care what team you're on you can get called up fast at any position.

So, is there are position that’s faster to get a higher overall?

Usually any position on the Baltimore Orioles.

Teams will send offers but will pull them in a day or 2 if not taken. Just counter I got a 11 year $31 million per year contract quite proud of that

I believe 31 million is the max.
