I would love to see ìt where a walk equals an objective. So if you have to hit 3 home runs then, now it equals 2 after the walk. Moments ruins my approach to hitting by forcing me to swing at bad pitches.

I feel like tweaked the hitting again. I can't touch Walter Johnson on all star in the Ruth challenge, yet I won a 9 inning game on HOF against the all great team. Even player missions I having a hard time getting hits. I am sure it is based on hours played...forcing you to slow down your progression you don't proceed to quick.

I agree. I hate moments in general. Edmonds 4 xbh and get on base 8 times in 3 games is no walk in the park either.

It seems like whenever I get on base there is someone already on second and is blocking me from stealing..🤨

The high value packs where you got to paying have drawn crayola. I'be lucky to pull a Trout Cole and Scherzer. Finished LS today so now it's on to the grind to get Trout. Sucks that you have to play online though to prestige some players.

Yeah it was tougher than I though it would be. I lost with bases loaded tied 7-7 with one out. Hit into a double play. Probably took about 30 tries. The chaplain/Mets is no walk in the park either. Luckily Nido hit a homer around the 20th try. As for Torii, that one might be tough.

Congrats I got about 10 HL packs in my inventory that are sitting there ready to disappoint me.

Its moments like these that make me debate getting an one pass. You can't get the card offline because they set it just below the 50 requirement. I wish there were offline rquirments. Ex. Online hit 10 xbh, or 30 offline

Hopefully a new map that doesn't include the yankees, white Sox and athletics....I've played them way to much.

Why this subject? Well it pertains to gaming. In the first episode they talked about the first games like space invaders and pac man became redundant after awhile and people were getting so good at it that they were spending less money to play it. So some guys developed some software to make games more difficult causing people to spend more coins. They were eventually taken to court but in the end Atari settle with them and they started to work for them.

So how does this tie into MLB 2020? It got me thinking of the missions and the difficulty of them. No matter the difficulty setting I find that there are peaks and valleys where I either get into the zone and complete a bunch or a period where even the simplest one is impossible to pass. So I wonder if the developers have put that code in to subconciously keep me playing longer just to say I have passed something... I know others have found times where they can't hit a thing...so i thinking there is a progress formula that causing your progress to slow down versus the time you've played. And after certain periods, the puzzle becomes easier again to keep you going and not causing you to quit.

Totally agree. Nothing worse than grinding out a 3-2 count on your last at bat chance and having no choice but to swing at a really bad pitch because a walk is worthless in most of these moments.

I'm a directional guy. I tried zone, but I felt like I was a cyborg with a laser eye and it was screwing up my timing as I was more focused on getting the ball in the circle. I have a 14 year old plasma screen so I do my best with what I got.

Side note: i know the real game has changed and become a ding ding festival which is basically the show now but i do miss the innings where there are lots of base hits, doubles, walks where there is more movement going on the bases than just walking up to the plate and smashing home runs.

On moments like this, def use directional to pull the ball, but I divide the strike zone vertically in my mind, split down the middle from top to bottom. Any pitch towards the outer half of the plate, let it go, even if it’s a high hanger. Look for pitches in the top right quadrant, but try to lay off the inside cutters/sliders.

The problem is that some games you won’t get two of them. But when you do, crush them. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. Had about 20 mins to spare this morning so decided to give it a shot. 1st game homer in the first, and a screen pull away in the 9th.....but just foul....

I was like ah man....

Second time in....homer in the 3rd....and somehow lucky the the game continued and hit a no doubter one in the 16th inning!

I personally love Posey.

Bieber has really good control and you will actually finish the game in 2020. With Sonny, MLB 2021 will be out in stores.
