I am stuck on this one. A lot of balls are coming up short and hitting the wall...what pitch did you sit on....did you also do up and in? Opposite field?

@tankdriver499 switch to directional hitting if you haven’t already, move the direction to pull a flyball. Sit on pitches up and be patient. If you don’t get a hr the first ab just keep restarting till you do.

Man, I have about 60 hrs on this challenge in probably 200 attempts but can't string 2 in a game...I am so frustrated. I've done Zone and Directional, I've tried square and X, I've tried up and in, I've worked the counts,. I am beyond belief that the developers labelled this as Easy...the guy has no power and no matter how you hit, your not hitting 2 in a row. I have hit like maybe 3 fade away camera shots on this one.......its pure [censored] and monkey balls. I see why this game turns people off. This is supposed to be fun?

Not to mention getting hit by pitches and walked...Easy should be meatball city.

On moments like this, def use directional to pull the ball, but I divide the strike zone vertically in my mind, split down the middle from top to bottom. Any pitch towards the outer half of the plate, let it go, even if it’s a high hanger. Look for pitches in the top right quadrant, but try to lay off the inside cutters/sliders.

The problem is that some games you won’t get two of them. But when you do, crush them. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. Had about 20 mins to spare this morning so decided to give it a shot. 1st game homer in the first, and a screen pull away in the 9th.....but just foul....

    I was like ah man....

Second time in....homer in the 3rd....and somehow lucky the the game continued and hit a no doubter one in the 16th inning!

Switch to directional if you haven't already. Use the X button. Try pulling the ball against Paddock. If/when they bring a lefty in, try going oppo. Wait for a pitch belt high or higher. Low pitches won't get it done. Good luck!

I used power swing at high fastballs for that moment. Worked like a charm.

Glad it helped! This is probably the best strategy to use whenever there is a homerun moment, so hopefully it helps you get though some of these moment grinds faster!
