Oh it should also be noted, no stub or xp rewards for the conquest map
-
It's only 3 vouchers for conquest, 1 for every 5 strongholds and is repeatable.
-
Basically from what I am seeing is instead of three maps that give 30,000 points for each division, you now get 3 vouchers per 15 strongholds won. Exchange 10 vouchers for 28,000 points....so basically to get what we got before, we will need to beat 276 strongholds....
Edit: sorry math was wrong...we will need to beat 300 strongholds, which means to get the same program points as previously, we will need to run the map 20 times, this is getting rediculous at this point.
-
@Skarmaen yup and that is per division, just to get the same number of points we'd get for completing the map once to get 20,000 points for two divisions.

Ignore I messed up somewhere lol -
They made the conquest partial repeatable, you get 1....yes 1 voucher worth 2800 points for every 5 stronghold beaten...this is a joke.
-
Has to be a dh primary position, the only 2 I can think of are the 85 David Ortiz and the 88 ohtani from the program. I'm sure there are others but those 2 are you best options

It's the new Era of SDS...you want any good cards....please open you wallet.

The unapologetic disgusting greed this company is showing this year is ludicrous.

any form of getting xp getting shut down this weekend like in mini seasons.
now the cap on the mini season xp as well.
I have edited my original post, as at the time I didn't see the other thread about this, so my apologies.
Just noticed this change and man, what a joke....I get having a cap (but 15k a day is absurd, should be 40k) but this is getting silly at this point. Play the game your way my [censored]!!!!! More like play the game our way and you'll like take it....oh by the way, don't forget to buy stubs.
Sds are seriously trolling us that this point.

I have kept quiet on these debates so far but with the increased number I am seeing I feel I should finally put in my 2 cents worth.
First off there are a number of things I dislike about the game. mmonetization, forcing game modes ie showdown down my throat that I don't want to play, but I manage and suck it up.
What I real see though is this "cpu throws too may balls" [censored]. I call it [censored] because year after year everybody complains that this game is nothing but a homerun derby, that we need my ways to score runs, that the game needs to be more realistic. So what has sds done, they've tried to do that and now we are getting posts saying that I am not seeing meatball after meatball on rookie.
My experience so far playing on rookie through hof is that the cpu pitchers are throwing strikes /balls at a more realistic mlb rate. Have any of the people making these complaints ever played or watched a baseball game? The most elite pitchers in baseball have a 60/40 strike to ball ratio, which is pretty close to what I am seeing in this game. I am not hitting as many hrs, but I am scoring runs in more ways...singles, doubles, sackflies...I am find myself playing more realisticly then past years...stealing more, moving runners etc and in that regard I've had more fun this year.
I don't know, maybe growing up in the 80's and 90's when baseball was exciting as opposed to today where it's homerun or bust (Which I find boring btw) has skewed my opinion, but I am finding this year's game the most realistic we've had.
I know this will be an unpopular opinion and I know I will be called a suck up or sds simp, but I don't care, this is what I see and how I feel. As I said there's plenty of scummy things that sds does, but as far as game play, to me, that isn't the problem. Sorry for the long post, but I had to say my peace. Cheers.

I'm beginning to think it's intentional. I'm wondering if they hired the blue Jay's pitching coach and their pitching strategists. If you're a Jay's fan like me you know the pain of the starter barely making it through the 5th inning because they are cl9se to, if not past 100 pitches by then.

There is no way you can complete this offline without doing a minimum 4 showdowns and 3 lantern conquest maps. I am 5 vouchers short (3 trick and 2 treat). I completed 2 conquest (lcs and lantern) which netted me 11 vouchers. Completed showdown 1 voucher, 12 mini season games 3 vouchers (all in the first game), 4 VS cpu games (full lineup of #13 players with win, save, 13 runs, 13 hits, 13 k's. Win and save with program players, 13 hrs in a game) and thet netted me a whopping 0 vouchers....so I have no idea how people are saying they are completing this with out multiple lantern map and showdown runs makes no sense to me

Same for me. I got the email today (first time this year) but yet again...no pack.

The Rogers center changes are in the game...the new fences, dimensions, and raised bullpens are all there, and outfield seating changes are almost all there. In fact I was at the Jays game on Sunday, even got down onto the field post game and the version in mlbe the 23 is almost identical to real life.

Time to make the elites cry....I have played lots of pvp type games, from mmorpg's to fps games and they all have one thing in common....a massive elite troll problem. I have no problem with elite players getting rewarded, they should be, however what I do have a problem with is said players earning said rewards and using them to flex their fragile egos by using these elite rewards to destroy players less skilled then them. My solution...cue the elite crying here...when you reach a threshold, you are locked there. By that I mean, you reach WS (900) in a given season, you are lock to 900 and above. That means you cannot drop lower than 900 ever for the remainder of said season no matter how many games you lose, also the range of players you play can't be lower than 100 rating points lower. That to me would make for a much better online experience and less toxic experience for all.
Now I know there is a good portion of elites that stay were they belong, and for you I salute you, but there are just as many, if not more, that will deliberately drop to troll lesser skilled players to boost their fragile egos. This could alleviate some of the animosity between the haves and have nots.

They brought the xp cap in in the show 21. The cap is 35k xp earned through playing the game over a 24 hr period. Xp earned through programs and collections doesn't count towards the cap...
